Great needles. I have OA in my shoulders and usually use aluminum needles because they are lightweight smooth, but these are even better. My wish is now to get a full set. Highly recommend trying these.

I've often seen comments on Facebook and in magazines, about these 'wonder' needles. I remember in the 40s and 50s, knitting with wooden needles which were rough and often split the yarn, so I've avoided them and stayed with my favourites: metal, preferably Aero when available. I do have a good collection.BUT, comments have also been made about how useful they are to arthritis sufferers and how your stitches don't stick when the weather or hands are warm. I do have pain in my hands, but it was the comment about needles sticking which caught my eye. This often happens, in summer or winter (when the heating is on) and is annoying.The needles arrived very quickly and I was surprised at how smooth they are; lovely colours too (slightly distracting at first but soon got used to it). Within a few days, the shaft of the needle became even more smooth and knitting is a joy!I can heartily recommend these needles, even though they're not cheap, for anyone with painful hands who wishes to continue knitting, or for those, like me, whose hands become too warm .... they really are lovely!

Knitpro needle, are more expensive than banboo needles but you get what you pay for. With knit pro wooden needles I found that the wood fibres don't start raising on the points, so there is no snagging of the wool. They don't bend like banboo needles, that end up looking like bananas. The finish on the needles lets the wool move along the needle with ease and they are a joy to use.

Ohhh sooo beautiful to knit with, they are very light and smooth and your wool just glides along, I wish I'd invested in some a long time ago, I'm so pleased with them I've since purchased the complete boxed set.

Knitting needles are as expected.
