PuttOUT Putting Mat Family - Perfect Your Golf Putting

This is a great putting mat for tight spaces. It came rolled around a thick cardboard tube and lay flat as soon as I unrolled it. There are designated cross marks for placing your ball at 3 and 6 feet which have a line extending backwards. This is to let you drill in a straight, online takeaway of your putter for the first 4-5 inches which is a major problem for many players. From the six foot line you can practice your lag putting to each successive line in front of you. The mat has 1 foot markings so you can also practice putts of different lengths to the flat “hole” at the far end of the mat. I’m using it with a Putt Out Trainer placed over the “hole” so I do a ladder drill and practice 1-2-3-4-5-6 foot putts by moving the ball back progressively. I’ll do 3 in a row (or 5 or 10 in a row) and then move back. If you miss one you have to start all over from the 1 foot. The 1 and 2 foot putts are there mainly to annoy you and serve as punishment if you miss a 4 or 5 footer. The Putt Out trainer also serves as a simple ball return mechanism and the distance the ball rolls back on the mat is a good approximation of how far past the hole your ball would have gone if you missed. In terms of green speed, I’m not sure where this measures on the Stimp meter but it seems somewhat slower than the greens I usually play on. You can roll the mat back up and store it in the included sac. Overall, I’m very happy with this mat and would definitely purchase it again.

The ball rolls nicely on this fairly inexpensive solution. It is just the right size that I can lay the mat down on the floor in my office, roll a few putts, and then roll up the mat and place in my closet. When you unroll it, it lays down flat immediately. Speed is close enough to what is advertised to give you what you need for most conditions. Well worth the money.

We purchaesd the putt trainer with this mat as a Father's Day gift. Husband and son in law LOVED this. The mat was good quality with no weird creases or bumps and they had fun perfecting their putt with the trainer. Son in law wants one for his upcoming birthday and hubby wants to take this with him to work!!!I will note that neither are golf pros!!

Compact and easy to stow away.

Does what it says on the box, good quality, worth the purchase for those of you looking for something for home of this size.On a side note, would like them to make a longer version of at least 12ft to the current 6ft.

The mat is easily stored. It has been, for me, the best putting practice mat I have owned.

I have gone from an 11.4 to 8.2 in the 3 months since I began using this mat. I believe having the PuttOut Pressure Putt trainer is a must pairing with the mat. With those two pieces of gear I have been able to practice 3' and 6.5' putts every day while I am on conference calls or watching sports in the evening. It will initially seem almost impossible to get the ball to stay in the little indention on the Pressure Putt but with determined practice I was able to get where I could nail it from 6.5' nearly 3 out of 10 attempts on average. The first time you hit 3 perfect putts in a row it will feel like winning a major!My confidence on putts from 10' and in has grown immeasurably. The key has been to improve my ability to be much more on line through impact and to always be accelerating through the forward stroke. This mat has paid for itself many times over by winning skins and validating "greenies" when draining 6 footers like I was Jordan Spieth!

This fits my footprint needs better and still works fine for practice at home. Thought about using this for travel but not sure if I’ll use it even though the size is compact.
