Question: Why the poundage of athletic recurve bow is only 18-36 pounds? Answer: Athletic archery need to be stable.Every action should be consistent when drawing the bow.If the poundage is high, your action is easy to be out of contral, which will lead to mistake. There are 144 arrows in a game, shotting several rounds, high poundage will make people tired. Good choice in a starter target bow
I shot semi-pro archery for years in my younger days. Decided to take it back up again. At this price I wasn't expecting an incredible system, just adequate for practice. I bought 2 bows from this company-- one wood riser and one metal riser. Both were more than adequate. (Note: a 66" or 68" bow isn't intended for hunting. I purchased both as target bows.)PROS:* Everything for around $100. (I am surprised they didn't inclue a nock or two with the system).* The sight is quite a bit better quality than I expected with this. It is made of quality plastic / vinyl and micro-adjustable.* Includes an arm guard and finger guard. Minimal but adequate.* In general the bow is well made. Everything lines up, no twisted limbs.CONS:* The arrow rest is pretty cheap; the wire broke almost immediately (so trip down to the local store to buy a decent one). You can probably plan on having to do the same thing. Vinyl screw-through arrow rests are easily available on Amazon and elsewhere.* All instructions are in Chinese. I have to wonder-- why distribute a bow in America without English instructions? For a beginning archer, English instructions (or at least a website link) would have been nice.I noticed the price went up in the 2 days since I bought it. I paid $95 for mine. But if it remains close to $100-- it's definitely a good buy.

Incredible Value for a GREAT bow!
I can't believe I was hesitant about buying this, it far exceeds my expectations! Where to start...The bow is very well made and easy to set up. You can be shooting in less than 20 min. maybe a bit longer if you are new to bows. I got the 32 lb bow which is nice, a bit much for a child but perfect for pretty much anyone over 14. It comes with everything you need, Riser, limbs, string, stringer, 2 notch's, arrow rest, wrist protector and 3 finger leather protector and sighting system. I was going to upgrade the sights but really there is no need, the stock one works fine. I would get a new rest (perhaps a fancier one) and some Otter hides to quiet the bow but that's about it. For me this bow was an easy way to explore the sport and I gotta say I'm kind of hooked! I see some of the complaints, and honestly, I don't think they are warranted, I believe the reason this bow is popular is because it truly works well and the customer service is great! Oh, get arrows...plenty of them because you will need them! 10/10 A+++ finally a product I don't need to send back!

This is a good bow
So it was 85 dollars. What kind of bow do you get for that? A very good one apparently. This bow is really fun. Comes with basically all you need to start archery. It has a nice sight too (which I haven't used yet because I personally like more 'old school' and minimal tech, I guess you could say 'traditional style'. Excellent bow. Also has a 32 inch draw length which I can't even pull that far yet but maybe someday! Really really good value and I recommend it. The stringer can be a bit tricky to use but I think it's mostly because I'm not very strong so others should have no issues with it. This bow is excellent. Also make sure to twist the string (which alters brace height) so you can minimize vibrations and get that optimal action. Sweet bow.

WOW!!! Impressive!
Sinoart you have out-done yourself! Now that I see what the real-deal of this 68" recurve is. I'm thinking there is an imitation of this bow "out there" that's being sold for much less but it does not compare with this beauty. Anyway I'll do more on this review later as I have only just opened this gift of a recurve. I know the difference because I've owned the imitation. For now though,...Thanks SinoArt for making this dandy of a recurve with all the accessories available to us.

This is awesome!
What a value - everything you need to get started with a real bow! English instructions were included. This is nicely made and easy to assemble. No problem using the stringer, but do be careful that you've got the cord in the right place so the leather isn't taking all that stress by itself. My only wish would've been for a sturdier arrow rest - it broke on the second day of use. Fortunately it was easily replaceable.

Very nice bow
The build of this bow is excellent. It shoots well and is very quiet. I have a long draw and it doesn't stack. The finish is minimal but you could always add more if you like it to shine more. Can't go wrong with the price.

The best Samick Journey and Spyder compatible/swappable takedown bow available.
We tried several Samick Journey compatible bows and all of them were less than impressive, this one is certainly the exception. When put side by side with the Samick riser/limbs, it is difficult to tell them apart right down to the smallest details. It is beautiful and the proper size for our 6'4" son for whom we bought it.

My first bow but it looks good
Arrived in good time and I think the workmanship is excellent. As I have said it is my first adult bow but I'm really impressed for it considering the price. The kit contained everything I needed except arrows which are coming. Soon I'll be able to have a go. Very excited.

Good Starter bow
Arrived within reason and had all the parts included. The attachment are fine. They are cheap plastic so be aware when using them. I have not shot an arrow yet but will give an update when they arrive.Pro:-Easy to assembleCon:- Noticed a few nicks on the bow limbs- Bowstring looked a bit warn with noticeable fraying before I've even had to try with an arrow.

Sturdy, cheap and of high quality.
This is a really great novice/intermediate bow, it has quality limbs and a sturdy riser. The string came well waxed and the package shipped quickly to Aus, the arm guard was of surprising quality as well as the finger tab. Things that let the bow down was the cheap sight although I shoot bare bow so that didn’t matter and the bow is a bit loud so if your hunting you will need beaver balls. Overall a fantastic bow would recommend.

So far I have used it only without the sight and it works great. The arrow rest might not be the fanciest ...
This is the first recurve bow that I bought, and I am loving it. So far I have used it only without the sight and it works great. The arrow rest might not be the fanciest but it works just fine for me. As long as you stick it well on the riser it shouldn't fall that easily... I also received the instructions on how to assemble the bow in English. Overall very satisfied with the bow, going to use it for target practice only, but I have nothing negative to say about it, except that it took 3 weeks to arrive. Otherwise, if you can be patient for 3 weeks, it's a steal, and probably unbeatable at that price.
