This Pink Accordion Curtain Was a Clever Fix for My Awkward Doorway!
So, I had this one doorway in our house – it leads to a little storage nook off the hallway – and putting a full door there just felt like overkill and would've been awkward. I was hunting for something simple and stumbled upon this accordion-style curtain. The 'Baby Pink' color caught my eye; I was a bit worried it might be too pink, but it's actually a really soft, pleasant shade.First off, setting it up was pretty straightforward. It comes with these metal grommets already in the curtain, and you get hooks to hang it. I had it up in maybe 15 minutes? The package also included a faux leather tieback, which is a nice touch to keep it neatly to the side when I want it open. The magnetic closure is the real star here. There are six magnetic buckles, and they snap together pretty easily to close it up. It's not like a super-tight, Fort Knox seal, but it does a decent job of keeping the opening closed and definitely helps block drafts. My son sometimes forgets to close it all the way, but it’s easy enough for him to manage. I’ve noticed it does help keep that little nook feeling a bit more separate. They claim it's blackout and waterproof. I’d say it’s very good at blocking light – that nook gets surprisingly dark now, which is great for storing things that shouldn’t be in direct sun. We haven’t had any major water incidents, thankfully, but the fabric does feel pretty substantial and has that waterproof layer on both sides, so I imagine it would handle a splash okay. It’s definitely thicker than I expected for a curtain. What I really like is how little space it takes up. When it's folded open, it's just neatly pleated to one side. Perfect for a spot where a swinging door would be a pain. I could see this being super useful for closets, maybe even a bathroom doorway in a pinch, or just dividing a room temporarily. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the pleats, while they look nice, might need a gentle iron on low after washing, just like the instructions say, to keep them looking sharp. And while the magnets are good for general use, if you have a really high-traffic area or a strong breeze, you might need to make sure it's fully snapped.Overall, though, I’m really pleased with it. It solved my awkward doorway problem with a bit of style, and the blackout feature is a bonus. For the price and convenience, it’s a neat little solution!

Simple, Works Well and Inexpensive
Great product, especially for the price. As with most things today, the instructions could be a little more comprehensive but it's pretty self explanatory and the magnets can be positioned as needed which I found useful for my location. Note it does not come with a curtain rod (most don't) and that's the biggest problem! LOL

As described
As described. I haven’t put on all the magnets yet because I have to work, but everything is as described. Make sure you have a curtain rod. It does not come with one.

Amazing strength
The RINHARTEX Magnetic Door Curtain is a handy blackout curtain that’s easy to open and close thanks to its magnets. It fits well in most doorways and blocks light pretty well. The accordion style folds up nicely when you don’t need it. It’s affordable and does the job, though some people say the magnets could be stronger. Overall, a good option if you want a simple way to block light or divide a room.

Didn't expect this to be such a dud
The magnets used to close the curtain by sticking to metal discs DO NOT work on door frames painted with semi gloss paint like every door frame in every house that's not a log cabin. That finish won't hold the metal discs that stick to the magnets. The adhesive lasted less that an hour. Even though door frame was wiped clean with Windex of any grease that may have accumulated, the adhesive won't hold. I even tried double sided carpet tape...no luck. Then I tried using small finishing nails to hammer it in, the nails couldn't penetrate the metal discs. THEN I tried drilling a small hole with a power drill so I could try the finishing nail again...the drill bit broke!! This area 51 alien spaceship metal is bulletproof but useless. The folding fabric door not closing is bad enough but there's more. If you cut the length to fit your door frame, the fabric will not hold it's shape. The bottom quarter of the fabric is twisted 90 degrees.Conclusion...this is crap and expect black helicopters to be deployed on a mission to recover stolen alien technology. Good luck.

Crappy hardware
The curtain itself is a good product. Light blocking and nice material. However, the magnets for the door frame are a joke! Pitiful. I finally had to super glue them to the door frame so they wouldn’t constantly be hanging off the curtain magnets. The hanging rings to attach curtain to rod are a cheap shoddy design. I will keep the curtain but I will replace the curtain rings. Could have been a better product.

Easy to work with and looks good. (Does not include a rod)
I was struggling a lot with one of the magnets not staying on the wall. A little stick glue fixed that up but it was a hassle. I'm sure the adhesive was weaker like that to prevent wall damage if it ever needs removed.I love how it was juuuust long enough that I was able to have a little bit of a gap beneath the curtain (I hate curtains that drag).Got this to cover up my closet doorway as the door it used to have was long gone. I was tired of being able to see all of my clothes every day and all of my other junk as my closet is partially used as a storage space. Putting this curtain in helped vamp up my room significantly. It's easy to maneuver and tuck out of the way if I need to. It blends in really well and now it doesn't even feel like I have a closet there. The material isn't anything fancy, which is what I expected. As long as it looks good, I don't really care what the material is because, well, it's a curtain for my closet.Just note that it does not come with it's own rod. That has to be bought separately. It does come with hooks though.

Lightweight alternative to a door
I ordered this to partition off a work space. It was easy to set up (rod not included). The magnets are fairly light but still attach. This is a really great alternative if you don’t want to put in a door. The color is pleasing to the eye and does a great job at blocking the light if you need a dark area. The fabric also helps heat retention if you’re needing that aspect. Great purchase!
