UPDATE: 0 starsThis screen protector fell off on DAY 2 of normal use!! (normal use = in pocket).My case holds on the protector a bit, otherwise it would totally fall off. Unfortunately, because it barely is holding on, I have to push it back down and push very hard on the screen to make anything happen -- I am VERY angry with the quality of this piece of junk.This, in addition to the severe rainbow effect and HIGH PRICE, make this item a complete waste of money.DO NOT BUY________________________________________This curved-glass protector costs about 70-80% more than most of the other protectors available on Amazon for the XZ 2 Compact. It arrives with alcohol wipe + microfiber cloth + guide stickers + dust sticker. Given the terrible reviews for other screen protectors (and the lone 4-star review for this protector at the time of purchase), I figured I'd give this more expensive version a try to see if the cost is worth it. (Total gamble!!)Pros: - Survived day 1 in my pocket. - Curved sides and size cover 99.9% (estimate) of glass -- in other words, it fits the screen quite well and with cutouts for all lights, sensors, logos, and speakers on the front of the phone. - Top + bottom edges are black which cover up my hideous silver phone's face. (I like black phones, but silver was $100 off at Best Buy) - Protector fits WITH Ringke Onyx LPU case! :)Cons: - RAINBOW EFFECT (big time). How freaking annoying! - Difficult to apply (though more than doable if you have patience). However, the annoying thing is that the video instructions they link to on the QR code on the package are not specific to this protector or the xz2 compact (and in fact doesn't even show a curved-glass protector!). The instructions were a complete waste of time with little detail, and many other youtube videos NOT from Olixar do a much better job. - 1.5x $$$ vs similar protectors on amazonSo why 2 stars?Really, I want to give it 2.5 stars: Overall it seems decent, but the rainbow effect is quite bad. this suggests that touch sensitivity will become a problem (it isn't yet), but also means that viewing the phone's screen is made unnecessarily difficult. Is it worse than other brands? Some yes, some no -- but, it is worth warning others about: expect rainbow effect if you own this protector. At double the price of other protectors, I'm not convinced it was worth it.Conclusion:Given the steeper price, I expected a good fit and design (which seems to be the case), but I was hoping to avoid common tempered-glass protector problems. However, I feel like I wasted the extra $8 and still got rainbow effect. We'll see how it holds up...

After trying a few tempered glass screen protectors for the xz2 compact, from supershieldz, which has done a great job for every other phone I've bought, except for my current phone. I'm pleased with this olixar screen protector, although a bit of a steep price for what it is.

I gave it two stars because it is curved and looks well molded for the phone. However, my phone slid off my bed and the screen protector just flew off, roughly a foot and a half drop. It only has a tiny bit of weak glue at the edges so it really doesn't hold well. You can also hear the glass protector touch the phone every time you tap the screen which I can't imagine is good for the actual phone.
