Mini-Prep 4-cup chopper
Just got my chopper a couple days ago and used it just last night for coleslaw. The blade is super sharp and it did a great job on the cabbage. I did find that I was only able to put in maybe one cup of sliced cabbage at the time, as the chopper took care of everything around it, but did not blend the whole bowl of ingredients. Not a big problem for me, though. The plastic bowl does seem a bit thin, so - following other's reviews - I will be careful with it.

It does a very good job, but it's too much of an appliance ...
I've been using a large, cumbersome food processor for years. It does a very good job, but it's too much of an appliance for what I need it for. Fast forward to purchasing the Cuisinart Mini-Prep Plus 4-Cup Food Processor purchase. I've been using this little creampuff almost every day for three weeks now. It's a breeze to chop anything (nuts, onions, garlic, etc.) and for making mashed potatoes with cream cheese and other spices added. I love it. I've chopped veggies, blended yogurt, and broken down chicken into puree for my elderly dog. I love this product. Don't be afraid to buy it at all.

I like it a lot, just one comment
This little gizmo is great for anything EXCEPT liquids. I'm sure I am supposed to know to use a blender, but sauces or anything on the liquid side cannot be put in here. It leaks out and gets everywhere. I was a little disappointed with that, but I really like everything else about it and it works very well.

Basic, good food processor
Efficient food processor that does exactly what it's supposed to do. :) Although the size is a tad small (totally recommend a bigger one cus you always think you aren't going to need a larger size, trust me you do cus I bought it with that mentality) and I've seen how others are structured so you don't drop accidentally drop food in the middle whole, it's good for the price. However, if you're in it for the long run, I suggest investing in a better one to be honest; this does the job but it ain't perfect.

Great Chopper
Great small chopper for the smaller chopping jobs - onions, peppers, etc. Does a good job with celery and raw carrots too. Easy to use, easy to clean, dishwasher safe (on the top rack) and sharp and powerful. The little spatula that comes with it is really pretty useful. It does a good job of scraping the sides of the rather small bowl. Would recommend to any cook - new or accomplished.

Both are wonderful!!
A MUST for every kitchen! I use this so much more than even my larger Cuisinart. As always, Cuisinart is top quality. My first Quisinart lasted for over 25 years and then the motor was still very strong...just couldn't find replacement bowls that fit properly anymore. So I invested in a new larger size and this smaller mini-prep. Both are wonderful!!

This is the perfect size and the four cup bowl is fantastic
I just received this today and am totally thrilled with both the quality of the product and the price! I have an older model large food processor, but wanted a smaller one for chopping and grinding smaller amounts of items without having to drag out my big one. This is the perfect size and the four cup bowl is fantastic! No more chopping onions by hand for me!
