Nokia CC-3000 Hard Case for N8 - Blue

Having bought cases before that weren't manufacturer 'spec (and been disappointed) I thought I'd treat myself this time, having upgraded the phone. I need rapid access to the screen for calendar and calls at work so a leather flip case is not what I wanted, also I wanted to retain more of the design/aesthetics of the phone, which this does.This fits perfectly and adds rigidity to the phone. It allows you to place the phone flat on a surface without worrying about scratching it. Also, the corners stand slightly proud at the front which means the screen is protected if placed on a very flat surface. Obviously the front screen is not really protected so I have also bought some transparent screen covers.I looked at silicone gel cases but since the phone is in and out of pockets throughout the day I didn't like the idea of a 'sticky' cover.I've knocked a star off for the price which is a little bit steep for what is essentially a piece of moulded plastic, but have taken account of the fact that you do indeed get what you pay for and the fit is perfect.

Very nice fitting solid protects N8 very wellbut it doesn't protects the screen at all.cp-500 it is better for me.

would not have bothered to write a review for a phone cover but on cycling to work the other day i took a spill resulting in 1 wrecked jacket 1 fractured wrist a weeping hip and a face like a skelpt wino. i kept my phone in the chest pocket of my bike jacket which bore the brunt of my fall. the phone is still brand new, the cover however now bares a not so surprising resemblance to a vinyl blues recording of the 1920's. i have no doubt that without this little chassis i would have a not so smart phone.

This hard case for the Nokia N8-00 really is quite brilliant. Aside from protecting the phone, it weighs almost nothing and gives the phone a whole new look. Sleek, smooth and sturdy, and all at a great price.I'd previously been using gel-cases and other hardcovers that are either too bulky or just simply not aesthetically pleasing, so finding this was really an epic achievement for me (forgive the extravagance :P)

This has made my phone look 10x better, it protects the back, corners, camera and the screen from light drops etc.However if you were to drop it from a height then it would more than likely crack or break.It's more of a look/style thing I would say but brilliant!I would recommend this to anyone with a N8.

Very hard wearing case. Saved my Nokia N8 from many falls and skids along the drive - 5 stars. However, didn't save it when I dropped it in the toilet with bleach down it - I guess a case can't do it all!

If you've got an N-8 and you don't have one of these, then buy one, you won't regret it. Access all buttons etc., slips in and out of your pocket better than the 'rubber' one Brilliant genuine Nokia accessory. Do your phone a favour buy it one today.

In fairness I bought the Silicon cover as I found the phone rather sippery to hold, and it solved that problem sure enough. However it also made it very difficult to get out of a tight fitting pocket!! This guard has proved its equal and more so.
