These batteries brought new life to my old 14.4V Hitachi drill driver. They charged quickly and I have so much torque now. I don't know why anyone really needs an 18V driver or more. One other reviewer had it right though, the buttons you press to insert or remove the battery are harder to press than the originals. Both of my new batteries do this so I know it's not a fluke but it's really no big deal. The price was reasonable also. We will see how long these last. The original batteries that came with the tool were 2.0 Amp Hour Nickel Cadmium and these are 3.0 Amp Hour Nickel Metal Hydride so they have 50% more capacity and are twice as light! The original charger charges both types of batteries just fine. The drill is easier to manipulate in my hand due to the much lighter weight of these batteries. I'm really liking them. I just hope they last. I'll update this review in the future.

Quick delivery, good price, brought new life back to my old Hitachi tools.We'll see how long it lasts, but the initial charge was quick and it lasted through an entire project.I was skeptical, but will be ordering another one after trying this one.

The battery is taking and holding a charge as expected from a new battery. Time will tell if it is worth the money. So far, works great.

The battery works great, holds the charge a long time, power as expected. The three stars is because the release clips on the battery (to remove it from the tool) stick and makes it extremely difficult to remove. Tobe accurate, only one of the clips stick. Maybe it's just this one battery, I don't know.

I had two rechargeable batteries for my drill and could not charge either so I bought a charger. Batteries still didn't work. So I bought a battery. Silly me! It was the batteries all the time. Who would have thought that two batteries would not hold a charge? Ordered this battery on a Friday and it was in my mailbox at 12n on Monday. Able to finish the project!

I was so happy when I first purchased this battery because it brought my drill back to life like it was brand new. But it's only been 3 months and the battery already barely holds a charge. I'm lucky to get one screw in after charging. I either got a faulty battery or these are just cheap junk with a short working life. Not happy.

Battery works fine and holds charge as well as original battery. I am knowledgeable about tools and can recommend this as a cheap yet quality replacement as opposed to buying a replacement driver.

I was very glad to be able to get this battery. My cordless drill is not manufactured anymore and I was not able to find a replacement battery for it. This battery works great, I would definitely buy from this vendor again.
