Oral-B Pro 1000 Power Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush Powered by Braun - White

The only minor complaint I have is the stub on the charging base is a tad too snug. I have to use both hands to pull the toothbrush off. Plus, the thing is rather tall, so it won't tuck away in the medicine cabinet.It cleans very, very thoroughly, and you can buy the heads that suit your bite, mouth, tooth condition and gums. After 10 days my gums no longer bleed (and I don't floss).

This toothbrush works well. The head moves in a circular back-and-forth motion, plus pushing/pulsing forward and back slightly; it seems to work well in cleaning my teeth. After using it for a while, I tested to see if it was getting all areas clean by using dye/disclosing tablets to see if there still were areas with plaque, and the results showed all areas were clean.The two negatives that I would point out are: (1) The size of the head of the toothbrush and the fact that it must be at a 90 degree angle to the shaft, makes the end of the head end of the toothbrush a little bulky. Because of this shape, the end of the shaft runs into the gum/bone/cheek juncture that is right behind the last tooth on each side (upper and lower), and I cannot get the bristles to brush all the area of the sides of these teeth. Therefore, after brushing my teeth with the Oral-B, I need to take a regular old-fashioned toothbrush to complete brushing these four teeth. (2) The handle on this model is a hard plastic that can be slippery if your hand is or gets slightly wet, resulting in it slipping out of my hand a few times and dropping to the floor. But so far it hasn't broken and still works.I have also used the Sonicare electric toothbrush, which does an equally good job of brushing my teeth. They both have there pluses and minuses. The idea of the head of the Oral-B toothbrush being round and more similar to the shape of one's teeth, and that it turns back and forth along/parallel to the gum line rather than the Sonicare going up and down (perpendicular) across one's gums is what prompted me to try the Oral-B after using the Sonicare for a few years. I've noticed that they both run TV advertisements saying that "it is clinically proven" that their toothbrush cleans better than their competitor's. But both statements cannot be true. As far as I can tell, they both work equally well. But for the time being, I'm still using the Oral-B.

Cheeper than any other place i could find it. Pressure sensor does NOT work. That was my main reasons for purchasing. Not happy.

I love this toothbrush, It works 1000x better than any other that I've tried and The price was just right. However being a prime member, I don't get why I had to post $5 in shipping for this product just because they created this new "pantry" division and that this was the only option for ordering this blue toothbrush for my wife...or so I thought because when I had ordered the white one from regular prime (where I did not have to pay shipping, because that's why I have a prime membership) instead of the white toothbrush they sent me a blue one. Had I known that color was an option through regular prime I would have ordered that and saved myself some money.... love the product though.

The best toothbrush all around! Best cleaning, almost as good as the hygienist. Uses very little toothpaste. Easy to keep clean. One charge lasts weeks for me at recommended twice a day use.

Just what I wanted This toothbrush doesn't have all the bells and whistles, which is why I got it. Excellent price and works great.

Best purchase I have made in a long time. My wife and I both love the tooth brushes. Teeth feel very clean.

Very easy to use. I like the small bristle head and that it buzzes to let you know to move to another part of your mouth.
