Improves hearing
Sometimes, you just need a little support, and this hearing aid set offers that support. I was nervous about offering it to my aunt, but she accepted. At 87, her hearing is challenging. I tried the hearing aid, too, and it improved my hearing. It is not visible if your hair covers your ears. If not, you can still barely see it. These buds are really small. The best feature is the four environmental settings. You can adjust the level according to the environment you're in. It holds a long charge and the price is just right.

Good OTC Aids
These aids have been working well for a few months now. No problems with recharging. They tend to be a bit noisy at times but overall a good product for the money. Fit is 7/10 and sound quality also 7/10.

Definitely for more moderate loss, but buds can be used separately.
These arrived pretty quickly and came with three different sized silicone buds to get the right fit, as well as a charging cable, cleaning brush and manual. The minor setback here is they do charge via micro-usb, which less products require these days, but it's just a minor inconvenience to have to carry around that cable. It has six different volume levels, and 4 different environmental settings to be able to play around with, from standard, restaurant, outdoor to music, and they all function via a series of beeps that I'll have to develop a muscle memory for, as there are no audio indicators besides that. It would definitely be nice to have some kind of audio when in each setting either way. If anything, I found them to be rather comfortable to wear. Unfortunately, beyond volume level 4, there's a significant amount of white noise that's slightly bothersome and it's not so intuitive with directional hearing, as to assisting in being able to choose what sounds may be more important. Depending on the setting, I could hear everything significantly louder, down to the pen I write on paper with, scratches and even the laundry one floor away. It's helpful in hearing everything in general and slightly overpriced for what it is, and I wish it had the capability to function via bluetooth so I could use it along with my phone as well.

Just the boost needed!
These were the boost needed to be able to hear things that were missing. Charging them in the case took a minute to figure out as their was no indicator on the outside that it was done charging. Once in they were comfortable like any other bluetooth earbud. The settings are a nice feature to be able to play with but they are mainly just set to the standard setting. They seem to keep a charge for a good while and I automatically just charge them at night while sleeping. Happy to be able to hear fully once again!

Good, Not Great
These OTC hearing devices work pretty well for what they are. They are amplifiers with some added features. When I put them in my ears the first few times I was surprised by just how loud everything was. After using them for a bit, I could adjust them to a better volume. It also takes time to get used to the devices. These are not fine- tuned like the really expensive units, and you don't get the benefit of an audiologist, but they work OK. At least you won't have to sell your home to afford them.

Impressive
I have hearing aids, but was finding them lacking in certain situations - watching TV to hear dialogue clearly - and when eating out in crowded restaurants. I find that the Medline aids work well for me in both those situations. I am able to adjust them to give me the clarity I need to stay involved in conversations - and to keep the TV on lower volume and still hear clearly - which makes the family happy!! They tell me that my "what?s" have cut back a lot! They are easy to charge - and to adjust - and they are comfortable to wear! Win-win-win!

Excellent option for an OTC Hearing Aid
If you have a stubborn guy who won't get his ears professionally looked at, and he can't hear worth a damn, these actually work quite well. I picked these up and made my other half try them, and he was shocked at how good they work. He had tried an amplifier, and it gave off too much background noise. These are much better, and they are barely noticable, they look more like really small bluetooth headphones. These are rechargeable, they come in a case that you plug in, and they are supposed to be water resistant which is good because he is a sweaty guy. These Medline Hearing Airs also come with some different size tips so you can find your best, most comfy fit for your ears. There are four settings that are designed to be used in different situations - standard, music, restaurant, and outdoors. He mainly just uses the standard setting. He even commented that things are too loud since he is just so used to not actually hearing so much of the outside world. My only complaint is that he doesn't wear them enough, I can only take so much of the blaring TV.
