Absolutely amazing just what I have been after a complete game changer

I used to feel like laundry was a serious chore. Washing, rinsing, spinning multiple times, hanging out to dry, house looking a mess, clothes horses everywhere…. Then I realised a tumble dryer could be my saviour. It was. Overnight I no longer had drying clothes everywhere – wash then dry (obviously iron, but hey no one likes that!)We are a busy household so need to be able to turn around our laundry quick, sometimes we also have a large quantity so need the ability to process this without multiple loads.Hoover came to the rescue. With a 10KG drum it has allowed for a large quantity of laundry to be dried without the need to split it, and with its ability to do an “all in one” cycle it really does mean we can just take whatever comes from the washing machine and go straight into the dryer. No need to split it, categorise each material, just pop it straight in and press start!This dryer features what I can only describe as life changing – heat pump technology. Yes, it is that good! Recycling the hot air the dryer generates to dry the load quicker, but also saving money and reducing the possible humidity in your home (based on using an ordinary tumble without a heat pump). I saw a reduction in the time of about 30% of the time it took to dry the same load compared with my other hoover tumble (same model but without heat pump) and with a cycle cost being much less too made it even better.The dryer also features Hoover’s “Aquavision” tank, allowing you to see the amount of water it has removed from your laundry so you don’t need to keep opening a drawer or the door to see how things are going or to empty it mid cycle. This was something I found to be extremely useful and saved a lot of hassle. Hoover also includes a hose which you can plug into the back of the dryer to plumb directly into your waste pipe to allow for the automatic emptying of the water that’s removed. Very handy if you can use this so you then don’t need to empty by hand.Another feature I liked on the dryer was the “One Touch” connection, allowing you to use a mobile application to customise your cycle and just ‘tap’ on the front of the unit to start the cycle. Giving you that extra level of customisation, it allows you to change multiple functions such as time, temperature and additional items for example hold or the less ironing function. The only drawback is that (at time of writing Feb ‘18) it is only available to use with Android based devices with NFC.In summary, as an owner of the non-heat pump version, I was already impressed with what Hoover had created in their dryer. With this heat pump version, I now know this dryer brings even more to the table. Its speed to dry, reduction in costs, highly customisable cycles and much more really do make this a recommended purchase. So, If you are in need of a tumble dryer, or just wanted that extra bit of help with your laundry I cannot recommend this enough!
