This is great
I love this matcha maker, very easy to use. But it does get extremely hot. Before drinking I put 1 ice cube in my cup before I drink it. Must buy.

Love my matcha maker !
The media could not be loaded. Well I just got my matcha maker in today and tried it tonight ! It took a while to complete its cycle which was fine. Almond milk and creamer went in cold - when it was finished I checked temp of my matcha it was 172 degrees ! Made a beautiful matcha

Arrived with a cracked lid. Vendor response was perfect!
The product has a plastic lid and it arrived with sever cracks, making it unusable (unless I wanted to risk shards of plastic falling into my matcha). The product is basically a blender so operating it without the lid means you either end up with tea splashing out of the container or you make a tiny cup of tea. I tried the tiny cup of tea route and the product works very well. So I expect that once (if?) I get a replacement lid, my overall rating will change.I've contacted the vendor via their website. I'll update this review once I hear back.UPDATE: Vendor shipped me a replacement lid quickly. Their communications were great. After getting the lid, I tried the product again. The lid seals the top but doesn't completely seal the spout area. This ends up reducing but not eliminating the possibility of leaks. I found that making 8oz of tea poses no problem at all, but trying to do 12oz or more results in tea sloshing out of the spout as the stirrer creates its mini-whirlpool.My 8oz cup turned out great - no spilling, the tea was warm and well mixed.Bottom line: A worthwhile purchase if you can deal with only brewing 8-10oz at a time.

Doesn’t work after first use
I bought this product as a gift for my husband for Valentine’s Day. He loves making matcha! Unfortunately after using it for the first time the matcha maker doesn’t turn on or work anymore.

Don’t think, just buy!
I’ve been on a matcha kick for sometime now and I can honestly say this saves me a lot of money being my own barista 😂 it’s easy to use and clean and it mixes the matcha powder just right at the perfect temperature. I highly recommend it ❤️

Convenient way to make matcha or other powdered hot beverages
The media could not be loaded. The Lyon Matcha Tea Maker Brewer is a convenient little device for making a single cup of matcha or other powdered hot beverage. My daughter loves matcha, and I have been using it to make my morning cup of chaga chai (with oat milk), and this could be used for making hot cocoa as well. The tea maker comes with a glass carafe with a built-in frother at the bottom, and the base actuates the frother while it gently heats the contents in the carafe. The whole thing takes about 4 minutes, and my chai came out smooth and well-mixed with just a bit of foam on the top.PROS:* Very convenient. It's much easier to put everything in the carafe and I can step away and do other things vs watching my oat milk heat on the stove and manually blend it in with my mix with a frother. (You can kind of see me walking around preparing my breakfast in the reflection on the video.)* Easy to clean. The frother pops right out so you can clean it separately.* Small footprint.* There is an extra plastic frother piece providedCONS:These are just little improvements that would make this a 5-star purchase...* Maximum line indicator on the carafe.* Better lid. It does have a silicone gasket to prevent spilling, but 1) it's plastic, and 2) it's a little hard to grip when removing from the carafe because the seal is quite tight (which is good).* Better instructions. In fact, there's really no instructions included and I had to go back to the Amazon listing to see how to operate it (1 press for hot, 2 presses for cold).
