Unreliable and poor service from manufacturer
A fairly nice laptop when it works. The screen brightness goes up and down rather jumpily sometimes, and it would be nice to have an alternative display output to the USB-C one, other than that not much to complain about in general. My big complaint is that it stopped powering on when it was about 18 months old, and after sending it away to the manufacturer's repair centre (which was a pain as their rubbish courier service didn't show up on the agreed date) and was told the SSD was broken. They charged a couple of hundred quid to fix. The rubbish courier service the repair centre used then delivered my laptop to the wrong address, after which someone (presumably the resident of wherever it was delivered) dropped it off at my front door a couple of weeks later (and did not return the original SSD to me along with the repaired laptop). This is particularly poor because their packaging has no anti-tamper seals on it, so potentially my laptop could have been compromised by whoever accepted delivery of it. Lenovo have ignored my complaints completely and not given me any resolution.Failure after such a short period of time followed by such poor service is really unacceptable for a premium product like this.I would not recommend Lenovo products to anyone in the future.

Pretty good but with unfortunately had to return due to some cons I couldn't live with
Overall this is a pretty good laptop, but with a few cons which could either be considered major or minor depending on your preferences.Build Quality: The build quality is superb and the hinge is more rigid than I thought it would be. This means that when you're typing, the screen does not wobble at all. The keyboard has a good amount of responsiveness and the track pad is also good. The clicks provide a good response and don't feel mushy.Display: The display is pretty good after calibration; I reduced the green level by 3 notches in windows 10 and that was all that was required. One downside is that it doesn't get very bright. This, coupled with the glossy and reflective display. means that it is not suitable for outdoor usage or in bright sunlight.Form Factor and Weight: It's not the slimmest laptop but it's pretty compact considering it's dedicated gtx 1050 gpu. It's heavier than I thought it would be, at 2.069 kg. Prior to this I have been using an Acer Swift 3 14 inch which was 1.5 kg, so being 38% heavier, it's something I just couldn't get used to.Touch Screen: It comes with a touch screen pen which is nice. The touch screen works well, but to be honest it's not a feature I would ever use. I also cannot appreciate the 360 degree tablet mode feature on a laptop this heavy and large - it just feels ridiculous to use in this way. I would advise no one to go larger than 13.3 inches if they wanted to use this feature.Battery life: I only used this laptop for a short while, but from what I gather, the battery life is very good. It has a 73 Whr battery and you could probably expect 7-8 hours doing things like watching videos, browsing the web and editing documents.Noise: The laptop isn't completely silent but by no means disturbing when doing simple tasks. It get's pretty loud when gaming though, but I suppose that is to be expected.Sound: The sound is pretty average for a laptop. It's not special in any way but by no means terrible.Gaming Performance: One thing to note is that the laptop MUST be plugged in if you want to have a playable experience. Playing games unplugged, the frame rate drops to less than 30 fps - I suspect either it switches to the integrated graphics or there is not enough power. Bear in mind that their is no way around this - forcing the nvidia gpu doesn't work. Once you're playing games plugged in, expect very decent frame rates. I was getting over 90-115 fps in both Dota 2 and Killing Floor 2, with the graphics set to high for both games. The gpu temperature maxed out at 78 degrees c during my session of KF2 - definitely acceptable. For more demanding titles like Shadow of Mordor, I was averaging 95fps on low, 70 on medium and 60 on high - pretty playable by my standards.I ended up returning it despite the positives, I just couldn't get used to a laptop this heavy. I understand that they had to use a glossy screen (because it's touch screen) but it just makes it the screen very reflective. To make up for this you'd in turn need to increase to brightness, but wait, it doesn't get very bright! I would also never use the touch screen or tablet functions on a laptop of this size.
