Works well, but it is very noisy
It works very well, but it is really loud. According to the manual the sounds we are hearing are normal, but based on reviews I had read saying how quiet it was, I strongly disagree. I even went back and reread some reviews, I thought maybe I confused it with another brand. We put it down on the lower level so we didn't have to hear it. We ended up buying a Frigidaire for the upstairs area, it is much quieter.

Not a good product
Purchased a Hisesne dehumidifier Model DH70KP1WG in July 2018. Error code E9 appeared in 2019. Hisense replaced the unit in July of 2019. In May of this yea,r 2022, using the product for the first time since 2021, the error code appeared again. Hisense was contacted and said that the item was out of warranty.As others have had this same problem, error code E9, it points to a shoddy product. Buyer beware of Hisense. Items should be recalled or Hisene should have a class action against them if the complaints are that high.

2 months and it is broken.
We bought one less than two months ago and the pump feature has already failed. I have spoken with them and they are supposed to be replacing it.

E9!!!!!!!!
Just dealt with (July 2022) replacement unit E9 issue and the other customer reviews below are ALL still valid. I fortunately due to experience with Frigidaire and Whirlpool units purchased a $50 extended warranty from Lowe's and recovered at least the purchase price and tax back. Two units lasted less than 3 years! About 18 months on 1st and 18 months on the replacement unit and there is not a factory warranty reset on the replacement. You only keep what is left on original purchase.

Worked less than 6 months
Purchased in August 2018 and failed by January 2019. Error code E9. They don't bother to put the error codes in the manual, so you have to contact them to get info on the error code. They told me to unplug it, reset it, and plug back in. It cleared the error for a few hours only.Will return it shortly. Hoping for better luck on the next one.

Don't waste your money
This worked fine for a few months, but then I started getting the infamous E9 error code and it refused to run for more than an hour or two before shutting off. I contacted Hisense and they sent a replacement, which was defective right out of the box. The unit refuses to power on, it just shows the "empty bucket" light. Terrible product. I'm not even going to bother getting a replacement.

Complete Junk!
Had 1 go bad under warranty, they replaced with a refurbished unit that also went bad right away. Now I am waiting for the replacement for that one.I can’t believe the big box stores still are selling them, shame on them for selling a product with know issues!

Shame on Lowes for selling Hisense junk
This unit is a terrible product. E9 error code and they won't stand behind the defective units they produce ..... last Hisense product I will ever purchase. Shame on Lowes for selling this crap
