Turtle Beach Recon Camo Multiplatform Gaming Headset for Xbox One, PS4, PC, Mac, & Mobile - Xbox One

I have tried other headsets but this one is by far my favorite! It connects to my xbox controller and it also connects to Ps4 controllers. It even plugs into my laptop with the correct adapter cable! I really like the quality of this headset. Doesn't require batteries because it runs off the controller/devices charge. I recommend using rechargeable batteries with your controller and then just plugging the controller in with a cord and you won't have to worry about draining and wasting actual batteries. I do really like the sound quality of this headset. The earmuffs dampen sounds around you. The microphone also has good quality. Since it is nice and close to your mouth, it doesn't pick up a lot of ambient sounds, although it might pick up your breathing if you tend to breathe heavy (just move the mouthpiece further away from your mouth and you will be fine). I have friends that paid twice this price for a headset that has one of those "Bluetooth" style speaker pieces that only extend an inch or two from the earmuff. I think these work better than those Bluetooth style ones. Those Bluetooth style ones tend to pick up a lot of ambient noises and it is pretty annoying/distracting. I hope this review helped!

These aren't the most comfortable headset. The headband gets pretty uncomfortable after more than just an hour or two, but my ears never get uncomfortable. There pretty durable as long as you aren't tossing them around and they've made several trips in my luggage on flights with no damage. Sound isn't anything special, but it's certainly better than any built-in speakers. Mic quality is good for xbox party chats, but I wouldn't use it for anything else. Not having mic monitoring is annoying. Like the title suggests, these are good for the price, but if you're a more intense gamer you definitely want to jump into $100+ price range

The mic on this is fantastic. I use them on my PC and on my PS4 controller. I’ve had mic compatibility issues with other headphones and they only worked on the older PS4 controller, but this one works on all 4 controllers.The headphones are easily adjustable and feel very comfortable on your head. After a minute you forget they are there. I have yet to listen to music to test the sound quality, but they sound great on video games. If you are wearing these you can still slightly hear someone talking to you in the same room, which I like.These seem great in terms of quality. If you take care it, I could see it lasting years.Only complaint is that they don’t fold down and take up quite a bit of space when not in use.

First off, I have to say, I love the way this head set looks and feels. It's got a heavy duty plastic construction and sits nicely over my ears. However: I unfortunately have to send them back for a refund. No matter what I have tried, using a splitter, changing my PC sound settings in Windows 10, updating/rolling my drivers, going on forums, not even buying an external sound USB sound card adapter for the one headset 3.5 mm connector, will get the mic to work. Though it could be my PC all the troubleshooting I have done seems to indicate it is the headset. I'm giving it one last chance tonight. Good luck to you if you pick up a pair to use with your PC. My only advice to you would be to make sure that your PC sound is not integrated with the motherboard.

I’ve had this headset a couple of months now and I love it. The inline controls are super simple and the cord is the perfect length to connect to you controller without tons of slack. The sound quality is an 8/10 for me. The directional surround sound is a 10/10 though. Helps so much in games like Fortnite or the types where you have to listen closely for enemy movements. It’s comfort is a 9/10 and it adjusts to any head size. The removable mic is very useful I can get it out of the way when I’m snacking and playing Assassins creed with no reason to talk to people. Satisfied with my purchase.

I originally bought my son a very inexpensive headset to use with his PS4. The microphone started cutting out after about a month and eventually got to the point where it simply didn't work. I bought this as a replacement. He's been using it with both his PS4 and his laptop for a couple of months now and is very satisifed.I can't speak to the sound quality except to say it's satisfactory for a tween playing online games with his friends. I just want it to be durable so I don't have to keep buying headsets, and so far, it's satisfying me in that regard.

These seem to be a nice quality with good sound for gaming. Microphone adjusts easily and nicely padded around ears. Blocks out ambient noise and are comfortable to wear for extended periods although they are a bit tight if you wear several hours but I imagine they will listen up a bit over time.

The reason I got these is because before, I had the XO Fours and my little brother broke them so since I already had the little black adapter thing I figured there was no point in reordering the fours so I just ordered these and they aren’t too bad at all but still the sound quality is nothing compared to the XO Four! They volume doesn’t really go too high and the base is ok.

Best earphones I have used. At last a pair that cover my whole ears and don't make them ache no matter how long I wear them. Great sound and the mic is removable.

I've given four stars. Not because there's anything wrong with these for gaming but because I was hoping they'd be a satisfying upgrade from my Microsoft Xbox Stereo Headset. They have marginally better sound but nothing to write home about.The 50mm drivers do deepen the bass slightly but they don't output very high volume on the Xbox One.I tried them in my Denon AVR-1906 amplifier and was bitterly disappointed. There's very little volume. If you push it up it become very crackly very quickly so you cannot get near any decent music listening volumes. i.e. you'll get no kick from bass/midrange.Having said that I have headphones for music. This is a gaming headset and I've rated it as such. What was most important to me is clarity, distant rumbles and microphone quality. This headset ticks all those boxes but will not blow you away.If you test the microphone separately it may not seem brilliant but in real application (party chat) is sounds great, gives no static or echoes. cuts in and out when it should and even permits some low level background music to go unnoticed in the party.That's great news to me as my mates are all to quick to point out background noise, TV's and music in the party.[Update] : I'm still using this headset on a daily basis after nearly three years. . . Even though I broke the headband sitting on it. I bandaged it up and it remains everything it needs to be. I'd certainly buy the same again.[Update #2] : My headset's finally dead. I had to perform surgery about a year ago after tugging on the cable and breaking a connection. Got it working and now the left ear died. On trying to fix that I've killed the lot somehow.R.I.P. my XO Three headset : 2017-2022... Not bad!

I bought these pair of headphones and I am so happy I did. To start delivery was very quick and free! When I received them, they were packed in a slightly accesively big box with a lot of packaging, but it is nice to know they have taken care with it. The headphones are in a plastic mold inside a high-quality box. It contains a user manual and some stickers. YAY! Assembling the headphones is easy. The wire is attached and the microphone is separate, which can be fidily to put in if you don't look properly. There is a small gap in the microphone jack which likes up with the microphone port in the headphones and then they have to be pushed hard. However the microphone is very high quality. It can be moved into any position and the sponge cover on the mic stops horrible spitting sound when talking. Once plugged into the xbox (what I'm using) they are automatically connected. The headphones themself can be pulled up and down and can swivle round, but not the most flexible set I have had. When they are on your head and adjusted for your head, they are quite comfortable but I find that after a while the strap along my head starts to hurt, but not much. Sound quality are amazing for gaming. I can never struggle to hear where people in the game. Bass and highs are ok, however don't be expecting amazing music quality, they are amazing for gaming though.Overall, these are a really good headset for the price (bought for £35) and if you are looking for a decent pair of gaming headsets, these are for you. And remember, you get stickers!

Pero pagaría el precio completo también después de haberlos usado.Para gaming gustan más que los Stealth 700.Para gaming en mi Xbox One X. Están muy buenos. Solo juego COD y es muy fácil de saber de dónde viene el enemigo y la distancia. Es alucinante, las veces que me a salvado el pellejola a mí o mi equipo. Sonido de juego bastante bien también.Los e usado para llamas de call center. Todo el mundo me escuchas muy bien y yo a ellos. Son muy cómodos. Hoy los e usado por lo menos unas 13 horas sin problema. Solo hay que ajustarlos bien para que no molesten.También los e usado en la Mac, iPhone, y Android. Se escuchan muy bien en todos.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem Gaming Headset für die Xbox One.Es sollte nicht zu teuer sein da ich mittlerweile Erwachsen bin, und nicht mehr so viel spiele.Vor zwischen 2010 und 2015 war ich ein semi-professioneller Ego Shooter Spieler.Ich war in Battlefield und Call of Duty sehr gut.Jetzt habe ich nach 4 Jahren Pause wieder etwas angefangen und gerade für MW3 wollte ich wieder ein Headset haben um die Schritte zuhören.Ich hatte damals das Turtle Beach XP400 und es war der Hammer. Es hat aber auch 150 Euro gekostet gehabt...Nun aber hier zu diesem Headset:- Es ist sehr bequem- Der Sound ist sehr gut. Für 50 Euro ist er sogar extrem gut.- Leider funktioniert das Gegner Orten durch Schritte nicht so gut wie beim XP400. Allerdings hat es damals auch 150€ gekostet und nicht wie das XO Three nur 50€. Von daher muss man alles in Relation sehen. Es funktioniert trotzdem deutlich besser als über den TV/Monitor.- Bisher also alles gut. Für 50 Euro sogar sehr gut.Falls es Probleme geben sollte, werde ich es hier aktualisieren.
