I am very pleased with this back bike seat. We've only been using it 10 days, but so far, so good, biking a total of 4 miles per day. My 4.5 year-old had grown out of the baby seat, and I needed a way to keep him safe while I bike with my older son to school. The younger one is no where near ready to ride independently back and forth every day. He fits comfortably on the seat and so far we've had no problem with him keeping his feet appropriately on the footrests. I just explained how important it was to keep his feet on the footrests and never touch the wheel or chain or else we'd crash. I did not install any sort of tie or rope to help keep his feet on the footrests, as I want him to be able to get off immediately if we need to. As other reviewers have commented, the handle bar that the passenger holds onto is right up against the biker's bottom. I can feel my son's hands against my butt the whole time I'm biking, but it's not a big deal, and we haven't had any trouble with him letting go or being at risk of falling. That had been my main concern, but he's totally fine with it. My father-in-law installed the cushion, pedals, and handle bar. It was far too complicated for me to do on my own, and if he hadn't been able to do it, I would've had to take it to a bike shop, just an FYI for someone who's not very handy with things like this. He installed it on the bike rack I already had on the bike for the baby seat we outgrew, and he had to drill some new holes. The back rest is so far back that my son never ends up using it, because he's leaning forward to keep hold of the handle bars, but I suppose the back rest would be useful if I were carrying a bigger passenger. All in all, I'm very pleased, as this was exactly what I needed. The materials seem to be good quality, and I envision using this for a few years until our son is ready to ride his own wheels to school.

Fit perfect my electric bike. Easy to install. Not the most comfortable for a larger rider better for smaller riders. Functions as a quick second seat but I wouldn’t suggest for long rides. The little handles have ok grip bars nothing added for safety I suggest make sure your screws are well adjusted and your rider knows to stay put.

Didn’t come with any of the bolts or tools to secure it onto a bike have to go to home depot or someplace and buy your own. Not a very goo cushion, just seems like cardboard and wood

Bought this to add to my mother in laws mobility scooter for when she picks up my daughter from school. I had a custom made rack to attach it too. The material is soft and hope it will last, so far so good daughter loves it. I also had to modify the handle bar/grab handle and foot rest to fit in the scooter but all is good. Definitely will bug again when the time comes to replace the existing one.

Handle bar is weak and broke easily but the back rest is solid the cushion is pretty thin
