Smells great, excellent lather and cleaning immediate relief for my dog with allergy season and itchy belly. I even put some in a little bottle mixed with warm water and give to my groomer when my dog has an appointment! Great stuff

One of my pugs has some serious skin issues that require occasional visits to the vet and antibiotic. This shampoo has help reduce some of her irritations and I just can’t say enough about the product I don’t know if it’ll work for everybody but it certainly has worked for us

Update:My dog has been scratching non stop and I think it had to do with the new shampoo I used so I broke down and bought the Sulfodene again from a different seller. I don't know if I just got a bad bottle or the other seller tampered with the product but this new shipment is great. The shampoo is exactly what I was used to getting in the past and after one bath my dog is no longer scratching incessantly.Something is different with these. I have been using this shampoo for years and the stores around me stopped carrying it so turned to amazon. Bottles are noticeably larger but look the same. The smell is close but not as strong. This shampoo never did produce a thick lather but these I got online had almost no lather when applied very generously. One bottle is almost gone after 3 baths on 18lb dog. When rinsing off my dogs fur felt funny. Almost as if a dry waxy coating was left behind. When I ran my hand down her back to "squeegy" the water off my hand would kinda stick and instead of a smooth stroke it was a broken one. Sorry, best way I can describe it.Again, looks the same but is definitely different from what used to be sold in stores. Shame. Will not buy anymore.

Our dog, standard poodle, starts scratching early spring and it goes all the way to November. During April, May, October and November this shampoo works great, but once the full-blown pollen hits, it's time to take her to the vet for treatment. We use Sulfodene throughout the entire year. The shampoo has a medicinal odor to it, but her coat is soft and shiny and helps with the itching.

This shampoo does the job and then some. My Dark chocolate Lab had demodectic mange as a puppy. We purchased this shampoo on recommendation of our vet. My Lab is now 4 years old and has more compliments on how beautiful and shiny her coat is, not to mention she Smells Great! Besides that side benefit you don't have to use a ton of it to get the job done! I hope to be able to continue using THIS shampoo on her and any other dog we may own in the future!

The only shampoo I can use on my Bulldog who has sensitive skin and gets stinky really quick. Not only does it really keep his skin calm but he doesn't itch or scratch as much. It leaves a scent that I like (matches) and it last so long. He doesn't smell bad for weeks. Even though it's medicated I feel that this could be used regularly. I'd rather have my boy not irritated and use this every bath. Also if you have a dog with lots of wrinkles. Pour a dab on a soft bristle toothbrush and scrub the wrinkles and folds then let it sit for 10 mins. Between this and a super healthy diet...'happy dogs

Works ok, not as well as some of the previous reviews stated. Purchased through Amazon as one reviewer said it contained triclosan and the one Petco carries does not. This product "does not" contain triclosan. Nice thing is that it does not have a heavy sulfur odor, and has somewhat helped with itching.
