Keeps our Little One Warm
Our neighborhood pool is unheated, so there are days when the water is super cold. We LOVE this NeoSport Wetsuit because the front zipper makes it easy to dress our 15 month old, and it keeps him warm for 45min in the water. I knew we wanted it to fit snuggly, so that the wetsuit could do it's job and hold/warm the water against his skin. We purchased Size 1 for our large toddler (31" and 27lbs). It is well made and would last several Summers (but of course kids are always growing!). We will purchase this again next Summer in a bigger size. I know it's tempting to buy things a little bigger to get a couple of years use, but a wetsuit won't work if it's too loose and the water is constantly flowing in and out. Buy the correct size to keep your kids warm :)

Too big at arm and leg holes to be effective.
This item fit lengthwise on my 21 month old (size 1), but was too loose at the arms and legs, making it useless. He was blue-lipped and shivering in 20 minutes. For reference, he is about 33" tall and 20-21 pounds. I contacted the manufacturer to complain and help with trouble-shooting, but no response. Most kids using this are of thin build, so it should be designed to fit accordingly.

Mixed Feelings
We bought wetsuits for all of us for an upcoming snorkeling trip to the Caribbean in January, but started using them at the indoor pool for swim lessons because my kids keep turning blue and shivering after just 10 minutes in the water. I liked this one for our toddler because it zips in the front and opens up alot more than the styles made for adults and older kids. That feature makes it so much easier to get her into it. However, it does not keep her very warm. The description says its 2mm neoprene just like the style I bought for my older kids (also made by Neosport), but it is thinner and she still turns blue, just not as fast.I bought this infant/toddler wetsuit partly for the front zipper, but mostly because I thought it was the only one that came in a small enough size for my 2 year old. After we got it and used it, I realized I could have bought the same size from the same company in the other style that I got for my older kids. I wish I'd known before purchasing as I would have bought the other style so she could be warm longer in the water. When she outgrows it, I am switching her to the other style. NeoSport Wetsuits Youth Premium Neoprene 2mm Youth'S Shorty The sizing for this product does seem to run true to the company's size chart. The Neosport website lists Size 1 as fitting 20-25 lbs. My daughter is 23 lbs so we bought her the size 1. It is maybe a tad loose, but not excessively. Maybe this is why she isn't staying warm longer? But it really does feel thinner than my other kids' 2mm wetsuits. I just bought a swim shirt for her to wear under it in hopes that it helps her retain more body heat.

Easy as advertised!
The full zipper really makes a difference in how easy this suit is to put on and take off (especially when wet)! Also, the sleeves are lightweight stretchy material just like the other reviewers said. I tried another product that had very small/tight stitching in the sleeves that left marks on my LO's arms ... this suit does not have that problem. I find myself folding the top down so we can put on the bottom like shorts ... then flipping the top up for the arms after. That way it's not like having to crawl into a "suit". Pretty darn easy.Be sure the flap behind the zipper is flopped over the right way ... so that you can't zip the poor kid's belly with the zipper. I'm glad they thought of that.

From cold and blue to warm and happy using this cute wetsuit
The perfect solution for toddler swimming lessons in a cold pool. Two-year-old grand-daughter went from cold and blue to warm and happy using this cute wetsuit rather than a regular swim suit. It's well made and really does the job.

Odd fit
The quality seems great, the fabric is nice and thick, but the shape is odd. It seems like it would only fit properly on a short and very chubby kid. I ordered the size 2 according to the chart. It fits lengthwise but the upper body is so loose there's no way it would keep her warm. The legs opening also flair out instead of tapering in. My daughter is 26 lbs and is between 2T and 3T clothing. I'll definitely be returning this.

Splash suit.
These run a little big. Do not expect it to be anything like a tightly fitting wetsuit. Body shapes vary too much at this age. It's great for splashing around the waves and protection from the sun and sand. Our 3 year old boy weighs around 32 pound and is kinda lanky. Size 3 is a good fit but slightly loose. With any luck he might be able to squeeze into them next season too.

Cute but...
I have mixed thoughts about this item. First of all, I had really hard time finding the right size. According to the online chart, my son was supposed to wear size 2. After a few purchases and returns, we settled on Size 1, and even that is still big! The suit does not fit my son like a second skin, allowing water get under it, so 5 minutes into his playtime, he begins shivering as bad as before. The suit did help with chlorine rashes though. The fabric seems to be good quality but the sleeves are just way too short and are made of a thinner material. It is very easy to put on and take off, even when wet. I will have to wait and see if this thing becomes more functional as my son grows up and fits in it perfectly.

My child previously had trouble keeping warm in our local pool, even with a rash guard on, so we decided to purchase a wetsuit for him for use during swimming lessons. Now he goes with a rash guard and this wetsuit on, and has stopped turning blue within the half hour he usually spends in the pool. He also emerges from the pool feeling warm enough not to shiver. It's a little pricey, but the size 2 is big on him still and he's almost 3 years old, so lots of room to grow. He's enjoying swim lessons a LOT more now. Definitely worth it for us.

Meh
After a couple uses I feel the material is too thick and absorbs too much water making my toddler cold. It also bunches around the shoulders and back. Will be looking for something different.

Marks on it straight out of packaging
The wet suit arrived on time and looked great until i looked more closely and straight out of the package there were 3 rather noticeable marks on it, as if something had spilled on it during manufacture. I was so disappointed because I need the suit right away for swimming lessons in a cold pool and don't have time to return it. Hoping for a refund or credit note (at the very least). Paid $40 for this - seems too much if it's going to have defects!

This is a great suit for keeping my toddler warm in the cold lake. It fits a bit small. I respect that these only work when they're tight to the skin but it's really difficult to get on and off him.

This wetsuit is very thin
This wetsuit is too thin and doesn't keep my son warm in our indoor pool. He turns blue in a matter of minutes. I compared this wetsuit to another 2.5mm one and this NeoSport looks like it is 1mm compared to the 2.5. I wouldn't recommend it.
