Fuss-free Fit Fix
I experiment quite often to improve my comfort on the bike. This inexpensive range of stems has allowed me to achieve this without a huge cash outlay.They seem perfectly well made and light in weight.

Made a huge difference to my confidence
I have a long body with a long reach. As a result when I bought my mountain bike I had a 115mm stem with a small angle downwards. It has taken me a long time to realise that this is why I can't go downhill and I can't manage even the smallest drop without a brown trousers moment. 60mm with 17˚ up angle is quite a change from 115mm with 5˚ down angle, but instantly I feel safer and more balanced on trails. The compromise will be road riding. I expect the more upright posture will make me slower on the road. However there is much less weight on my hands and the strain of holding my head up from a forward reach position will be much less. Wish I had bought this stem years ago.
