I received this adapter/charger for my Toshiba C55-A a couple of weeks ago. It is just as pictured and works perfectly. I actually like it more than my original factory charger for a couple of reasons: the plug to the charging port is angled (and is a perfect, snug fit into my laptop's port, BTW), which more streamlined and causes less wear and tear on the plug; plus, the charging brick has a green light on it to show it's working (unlike the factory model). As other reviewers have commented, the cord connecting the brick to the electrical outlet is a little shorter than average. This is not a problem for me personally. If I ever do need a longer cord my old one fits exactly into the outlet in the brick to give me more range. I would rate this seller and product A+. The price is certainly right and I would buy another one these adapter/chargers if needed.

My wife's laptop had disappeared. We ended up getting a C55-A5308 Toshiba Satellite but it had no power supply. I borrowed someone's just to run it for a day and test it out. The laptop looked brand new even though it was only an I3. I upgraded the RAM from 4gb to 12gb by purchasing an 8gb stick.As of now, with the working power supply and the extra ram, the laptop is running very smooth and fast. The next upgrade will be to an SSD and it should be a screamer.Overall, I highly recommend this charger - at least for the model I listed in this review. However, I suspect that all of the models in the Seller's description will work fine with this power supply. I recently decided to recycle my old Toshiba Portege z930 to use as a lightweight, portable Linux laptop. But I couldn't find the power adapter. I tried another brand, but the AC cord required a 3-prong AC outlet, and a few of the outlets in my home are still 2-prong with no separate ground. This power adapter works fine and requires only a 2-prong outlet.

The charger arrived on time, and works great. I made this purchase because Best Buy seems to only sell $65 chargers that come with way more converters than needed. My model is a Satellite C55-C5241, I found the model number on a sticker on the bottom of my laptop.

It powered up my Daddy's Gateway laptop. It does get QUITE warm, don't know how normal that is. But YES, It was satisfactory and got the job done, the whole buying process was dealt with satisfactory, it arrived pretty quick. Thank you so very much. NOW IF I COULD SPEED IT UP!!! (The laptop, that is).

I have two identical laptops, so when I received this new charger I compared it closely with my existing charger. The specs were identical, even the size of the charger was identical. The only slight difference was in the length of the cables, which were about 3" different.Worked perfectly!

I looked at 3 different stores and only one had what I was looking for but for a higher price. This charger fits perfect with the Toshiba laptop. Perfect length and easily fits into charging port. The price is very well worth it. My laptop is very very old but still useable.
