absolutely awesome - didnt think a snorkel could make such a massive difference

The mouth pieice is super easy to hold onto and easy to breath through. The purge vent at the bottom empties the water out that you might catch when you let go of the snorkel and the dry valve works very well underwater...

Actually helps catching more fish

I personally can't breath under water so I purchased this snorkel to help me breath when I'm looking down in the water. Just what I needed and fits my mask perfectly (I also have a mask to see better in the water because my eyes are not very effective in water).

Very aggressive dry flap valve but I just removed it

I am PADI certified (master scuba diver) and quite experienced in snorkeling, and yet In snorkeling in open ocean I found it annoying that the flapper would be overly sensitive. Arguably this goes with personal preference, and if you just breathe slowly you can somewhat work around this. In my case I accustomed to letting water in and just blowing it out, but with the sensitive valve I found it very annoying to have the valve close on me unexpectedly when taking a big fresh breath of air getting ready to free dive to 30ft. In my case I just pulled the dry valve assembly off and am now extremely pleased with the snorkel I’m left with

Great for first timers and pros

Finally got to use this in the Bahamas. I had no difficulty with this. My first time snorkeling! What an experience to see National Geographic type underwater scenes with 3-D eyes. The mouth piece was very flexible and comfortable with no jaw fatigue at all after using it for an entire week. I bought this on reviews from an expert diver. Not once did it fail in any way. Highly recommended. Happy snorkeling.
