Mikasa Tanner 16-Piece Dinnerware Set, Service For 4, Light Blue

I ordered the Mikasa Tanner light blue pattern because I thought the Mikasa brand had a good reputation and a good quality product. I was wrong. My 16-piece set arrived with a cracked bowl. I immediately followed directions and contacted a Mikasa representative. I was informed by Mikasa that they not only no longer made the Tanner light blue pattern, but they also would not refund me for the cracked bowl. Mikasa gave an alternative option of sending me a BROWN Tanner bowl as a replacement. This was not a satisfactory compensation as I did not want mismatched dinnerware. I was then directed in email to contact Amazon as Mikasa could not help me. I will never buy anything made by Mikasa, as they do not stand by their product quality, or lack thereof. Eventually, Amazon was willing to accommodate me by refunding me the price of the cracked bowl. Also, the quality of the Tanner product is very poor, as the rim underneath all the plates is unfinished and scratches surfaces easily. I now have permanent scratches in my Ethan Allen coffee table. Do not buy this Mikasa product, and if you do buy from Mikasa, do not expect good customer service.

Beautiful dinnerware. Looks completely artisan. If u love a tactical, earthy pottery look this is for the. The blue gray greens glazed are great. The shipping is terrible I had to reorder at least 6 times to get 2 4 dinnerware sets. Amazon was great to help. The process was frustrating. Lots of time involved. I truly loved these dishes or would not have dealt with it.

The plates are uneven. The color and design is uneven. Many of the plates, cups, and bowls arrived broken (Amazon did replace them). Our previous china set came from Mikasa, it was good quality and lasted many years. This set is much lower quality.

The media could not be loaded.  BEAUTIFUL! However…. Don’t expect to get the entire set intact. I ordered this twice and both sets showed up broken. I love them so much I’m just keeping them. But they need to be packaged better… especially the bowls and the mugs.

I received 2 sets of this dinnerware today. 2 bowls and 1 coffee cup broken. Will be requesting replacements for those 3 items as I really like them.

I had ordered this set for my daughter who just moved to the other end of the country. It arrived with 3 broken pieces. Unfortunately, she and her boyfriend had nothing else to use so I didn’t have the time to ship back for a replacement. The set is lovely but the shipping was not careful. Sadly ☹️

Asked for replacement & got more broken bowls. Wish I could just get 3 good bowls.

Purchased this Mikasa product and was very disappointed. This product was a bunch of factory seconds / rejects. 3 of the 4 plates were stained blue splotches and the cups were chipped in such a way that it looked like they were bad from the factory (i.e. not shipping damage). Would not recommend this product/seller.
