The reason we like this mat so much is because it has double tie downs on both sides. This allows you to tie the mat down so it doesn’t sway in the lake. You can also use it to play beer pong on without it moving around! It’s the quality thickness like name brand float mats. I would just suggest buying different straps… The namebrand carries longer straps that work better and cause less fuss. They aren’t expensive. This is worth the price if you’re looking for a big party mat!
