Wish I would have had this CAP a long time ago
I had some concerns for this hex after reading other reviews. The 1st was delivery. I was concerned after reading some reviews that the bar arrived damaged, not wrapped correctly, or was very late. I did not have any issues with the delivery. It arrived within 2 days on a large Amazon box truck delivered by 2 gentlemen and it was very securely packaged. My 2nd concern was the the size of the bar. I'm a big man and there's plenty room for me when deadlifting. No issue with the size of the bar. Finally, I was concerned about the paint peeling. I have the black bar, which has a very nice knurl. The bar only showed signs of scraping to the paint when I placed it on the rack and turn it, which is to be expected when you rub metal against metal, but there are no signs of peeling. I am very satisfied with my purchase and delivery. I wish I would have gotten this hex a long time ago. It is a valuable addition to my equipment. I have no idea what the difference is between the other CAP bars, but I have the "combo grip ecom package" with "raised grips." I have no idea what ecom package means, but it has combo grip and is black with good knurling. It's the cheapest CAP bar.

Great trap bar!
Ordered the black combo grips version on Prime Day 2020, delivered 3 days later and earlier than initial estimate. Very nicely packed, no scratch or any kind of blemishes that I could find. Paint job is nicely done, don’t feel that it caused any slick to the grip. Both flush mount and raised handles have knurling that is above average in depth and spacing, providing an excellent grip for heavy deadlift which I like (more aggressive than my 7-foot Olympic barbell). I can easily fit four 45-lbs iron plates on each side. The only minor ‘complaint’ that I have is that the bar weighed only 50 lbs and not the 52-lbs as advertised (I weighed myself on a digital scale with and without the bar to find out the net weight of the bar). However, I decided not to knock any star off the rating since this bar is way better than the one I used to use at the gym for 7 years before COVID. Overall, highly recommended. If you have lower back issues doing deadlift using an Olympic bar, this trap bar is a must have to keep you going strong.

Pleasantly surprised
I wasnt expecting too much from this trap bar. Was very apprenensive after reading some of the mixed reviews about quality control. Decided to give it a shot when price dropped below $100. Glad I did. This is as good as any higher priced trap bar out there (for most people). The specs might not be the same, but lets face it, whos lifting over 750? Fit, finish, and welds are all very nice. Dimensions are all relatively square, so no crooked grab handles. Its pretty great. Couldnt really ask for more at just a Benjamin.Expect the most bizarre packaging youve ever seen though...lol.

Solid for the price
I had tried to order an open hex bar right before the Pando went into full lock down, so it ended up on perpetual backorder. I waited and waited and eventually ran out of patience, so when these came back in stock I ended up hitting the buy button on this closed hex bar.So far so good. It's a stout bar with good knurling on the handles. Only complaints I have are that the plate sleeves are smooth so you absolutely must use collars which I don't normally do on my knurled straight bar.I also kind of wish I would have held out longer for the open back hex as I occasionally end up knocking my noggin when rolling this up over head to do should presses. This was the main reason I wanted to open back as I very much prefer having the neutral grip provided by a hex bar to do over head presses. Since I can't afford a Kabuki Cadillac bar I was hoping to get more uses out of the hex bar since I really do like it for deadlifts, squat jumps on HIIT days, and overhead presses.I'll definitely keep using it for now, but once the supply chain opens back up if this stupid Pando ever ends I'll probably start looking for an open back with knurled plate sleeves again.

Good deadlift bar if you have the room
Great item. Better distributed deadline load for safer ballance. Good grips. Durable, it's a steel bar.

Great quality and price for the Home Gym !
Arrived faster than expected since I live in Hawaii. Good solid steel bar handles, good clean welds on my bar all around. The knurling is a little less "aggressive" compared to a high quality oly bar due to the paint/coating but enough for a good grip. If you need more use a small metal file to get into those grooves or use straps. Overall very happy with the quality and purchase.

Army ACFT practice
I got this to help with my training for the Army ACFT. It's fantastic. It came well packaged and protected, and was in great shape with no nicks or damages which is rare for heavy equipment like this. It works perfectly for my needs. I wanted something a bit heavier so I didn't have to have much more than 45's to meet my minimum requirements for the ACFT and at 52lbs, it is perfect. I would highly recommend this compared to many of the more expensive versions out there, you won't be disappointed.

We’ll constructed bar
Been using for over a month now and I like it. Took a while to get used to it because it’s a different feel from a regular bar for deadlifts. No issues with hand space and plenty of room for plates.
