2 year Post Review
This computer has been AMAZING! I'm an Architecture Graduate Student and it holds all my programs without running slow ( AutoCAD, REVIT, 3DSmax, Adobe Creative SUite, Climate Consultant and more) It has been AMAZING. I've had random moments where my computer has made a weird sound and froze up (twice out of the 2 years I've had it) but I turn it off and back on and it was fine. The day before yesterday it blinked black and went back to normal, I'm hoping that was the program I was using. But overall it has been great. I also run games on it (VR Game Chat) and it does great. So everything has been great. I'm working on looking into getting an extended warranty. Unfortunately, its about $189 for 1 year and I'm not even sure what it covers. But 9 out of 10 I'd recommend you get this. YOU WILL LOVE IT! The keyboard feels amazing! The camera is great on Video Calls and gives a wide-open shot. The screen tilts up and down for your comfort. (ITS HEAVVVVVY) so be careful when taking it out of the box!

EDITED REVIEW: PC Wont' power up. It's dead in the water.
There isn't much to not like about this desktop after two months of use other than it runs Windows 10 which can be buggy. The screen is really nice and the charging pad for my iphone and ipod pros is very convenient. The speakers are really good too. To be honest I expected better only because I've read where they are awesome and while they are very good they aren't that much better than the external speakers of my former desktop.I hated the keyboard. Too small and I didn't like the feel of the keys when typing. It's well made and relatively heavy but I replaced with a wireless Logitech with a back-light. The mouse was fine but I replaced it too.All in all other than the issues with the mouse and keyboard I'm really happy with the purchase.EDIT: I have to edit my review. I bought this late March 2020. This morning, there was no power, PC wouldn't turn on. I worked with customer support and now I have to send it in for warranty repair. It's very frustrating that a 5 month old PC is now dead in the water. As is all of my work. Buyer beware

Refuses to boot, total bummer
Well, up to this point I've had nothing but great things to say about this PC. A "Mac killer" was what I hoped for and generally got, but last night, for no apparent reason, she decided to stop booting. No reason, I'm not a heavy user, this is not some power user PC. It mostly stays off with an hour or so here and there of browsing and using it to learn music and play along on guitar. Doesn't boot, doesn't get to the HP logo screen, nothing. Fan turns on like it wants to turn on but that's it. All that said, 3 years on, I'm sorry, this shouldn't be happening for such a high end PC with no issues prior and nothing that would lead me to believe literally anything was wrong with it. I mean nothing! I haven't downloaded or done anything on it that could remotely cause a catastrophic failure to start. It seems like the mother board which will basically mean game over for the computer. Throw on that no more warranty and HPs labyrinth of support, I don't even know where to turn to try to get it repaired without getting totally ripped off. I believe I can get a post warranty and pay for it that way and they'll fix it, but they have terrible reviews and I don't have high hopes dropping 200$ on an extended warranty when the computer itself was 1800$ top of the line and yet here we are. Anyway, forwarned, this thing just stopped working without anything to lead me to believe it could happen. Maybe go with a desktop instead that's easier to access repairs

Almost perfecgt
I thought about giving this a 5-star rating, and maybe I should. If I could pair it with a subwoofer I definitely would. The sound system is VERY good for a computer. I just want to punch up the bass, and it seems there's no way to do that. However, it definitely deserves 4.5 stars. It arrived yesterday and I had it set up well enough to watch a movie on it very soon. it helps to watch the HP "Unboxing" video first to learn how to most easily get it out of the box and begin the setup. I finished setting it up this morning - paired the keyboard with my iPhone and my wife's iPhone, tweaked the sound level (it definitely can blast you out of the room before you reach full volume.) The sound is very very good, it just doesn't have the kind of low notes that you can feel in your torso.UPDATE: I just discovered the Bang and Olufsen controls in the list of installed programs, and it includes a 10-band Equalizer. That lets you tweak the sound profile, and I've been experimenting with it. I've punched up the bass, so I guess now I'd give it 4.6 stars, or maybe even 4.7. Still doesn't have bass that you feel in your gut, but it's pretty darned good - - and WAY better than any other computer speakers. We bought it primarily to watch movies. We don't have a TV, and had been watching movies on a 23-inch All-in-One. I was thinking of buying a speaker system to punch up the sound for that thing, but happened on a review of the HP Envy 32. I'd been wanting a bigger screen for movies, and was seduced by all the reviews that gush over the Bang and Olufsen speakers this thing has. They are very very good, as I said - - I'm listening to Christmas music on it as I type. I just want more bass.lThe screen is HUGE, after years of watching movies on a 230-nch screen. It's sharp, good color etc. Now we can slide it further away on our big coffee table, leaving room for snacks etc. on the table in front of it. I love it. Just be sure to watch setup videos that explain how to set it up, or real the manual on the web. Bare minimum instructions come with it, printed on the inside of the box holding the keyboard.
