I purchased this mug at a different store and plugged it in the truck. It did keep my coffee hot but withing 30 minutes the wire inside the cup melted though the side of the cup and melted the plastic in the cup holder in the truck causing a great deal of smoke. I contacted the company that made the mug and they said if I mail it back to them they will review the mug and then make a decision as to weather or not they will ship me another one and it will take about 8 weeks. Never leave the mug unattended!!!

I don't really like the way the top of the cup feels on my mouth. It seems too thick. Also the warmer may keep the coffee warm. However, it doesn't increase the heat at all. Would not order this again.
