Good Purchase, Used To Augment Bigger Heavier Sheath
I had a PICC line last year and purchased a sturdy shower sheath that worked well but was a total pain in the kiester to put on. Had to have another PICC earlier this year and bought these disposable sheaths. I used these in combo with the previous sturdier sheath, and these simpler to use sheaths made putting on the big sheath way way easier and the simpler sheaths completely eliminated any wetting due to leakage with the sturdier sheath alone. This was a good purchase.

Perfect protection when you have a PICC line
I had a medical procedure that ended with an infection. I have a PICC line put in my arm for antibiotics delivery. Needed to protect the catheter from getting wet. This product did the Trick...

Works for showering with PICC line
I recently purchased these shower sleeves for covering a PICC line for showering. I have a larger arm being a plus sized woman and needed the larger shower sleeve. I have a 17 inch bicep and these fit and a small amount of room left. I am not sure they would be able to be used for someone with a 22 inch bicep they just didn't stretch enough in my opinion.I also am using a hand held shower just for added measure to try and avoid direct water contact on my PICC but do believe that these would protect it from a shower spray. They have elastics at either end of the sleeve and I wouldn't probably raise my arm and take a chance that the shower spray could enter through any gap in the elastic personally. These are a much easier choice than trying to wrap your arm in plastic wrap. I have also been able to slide off the arm once finished and use it more than once even though they are supposed to be one time use only(not sure if that is because I am using them in conjunction with the hand held shower as well). I am glad I have been able to use them for a couple of showers each time since they are quite pricey at more than $1 each sleeve.I would recommend and purchase again if needed.

Good product in theory
I had a picc line for 6 weeks to do at home infusions.I got this sleeve to enable me to take showers since I needed to line to stay dry.I found that the sleeve doesn't keep water out 100%.Every time I showered there was leakage, enough to form a small puddle inside the sleeve.I also used a wound shield over the line which helped but it didn't seal well either. My wife got some water proof bandage tape and seald the upper part of the seal near my shoulder which did the trick pretty well. The good part is that these sleeves are disposable and inexpensive. They are also less bulky than the kind with the foam seals (which are not disposable) and less expensive as well.I would recommend that using this sleeve alone doesn't do the job but using a water proof tape on the upper part of it works great so get some of that, too.

simple and effective
needs to be able to stretch carefully over a picc line and then also remain tight. so it works much better then a sleeve for a cast which can be pulled forcefully over the cast. not so with a picc line. these stretch much easier but then still seal well with just basically a rubber band at the end of the sleeve. simple and perfectly effective.

Simple and effective
The shower cover works as advertised and is easy to use. For extra protection I wrap the PICC line in an ace bandage and put the shower cover over it. The ace bandage hasn't gotten wet yet. I try to keep my arm elevated so that the water doesn't hit it directly.
