Everlast Mixed Martial Arts Heavy Bag Gloves

These are being used in a martial arts setting where full hand protection is needed. These are comfortable and easy to put on and take off. They appear to be quite durable and should last a long time. A good value here.

Bought these to use at home with our heavy bag. They are pretty sturdy, and the velcro closures are easy to use when wearing the gloves. The wrist bands are also wide enough help prevent a wrist sprain when hitting the bag.

I’ve used these for quite some time now. Used for heavy bag and sparring with a buddy. They held up well for quite a while tho eventually the outer side of my right glove busted at the seem as you will see in a few of the other reviews. I initially bought these because they were on the cheaper side. I used them today even with the busted seem and they are held together pretty well. I also want to state that I’ve never bought gloves before so I didn’t know what size to buy, and these were a bit snug on my hands which could’ve caused the busted seem now that I think about it.

In the past, I've done different types of martial arts from karate to wrestling, and I've spent some time sparring and working on dummies, but I've recently gotten really into heavy bag work and adding it to my workouts. For a period I was using the communal gloves at the gym, but I really hated two things. The first was that they were disgusting and smelled like the sweat of other people and the second was that they were boxing gloves. They were hot, bulky, and heavy, and didn't mimic a real hand to hand fight; they were specific to boxing.I ended up buying some mma gloves which felt wayy better, but ultimately didn't work. They were light, kept my hands cool, allowed me to still use my thumb, felt closer matched with how I actually planned on using my hands. ..I ended up cutting up my unprotected front knuckles on the bag.Finally, I found these. They have all of the benefits of the mma gloves, but still protect my hands from the heavy bag. They are the best of both worlds. I love them and have no complaints. So far they have held up great and continue to feel great.

I'm taking a kickboxing class for college and these fit the job perfectly. Much cheaper ordering these online than the instructor's gloves. I have average-sized women's hands and these fit great even with hand wraps. The thumbs are not covered, but there's enough space in the thumb hole to wrap up your thumb with hand wraps.The gloves I was delivered are black with grey trim and a larger Everlast logo on the side as well as a patched Everlast logo on the strap. They aren't the same as the ones pictured, aesthetically, but they are the same gloves. And they do their job and they do them well. So far, they hold up well and support the hand and wrist very well. Again, I recommend using hand wraps.

Everlast gloves at a good price

These gloves are great - I use them frequently for heavy bag work and they have held up well in the year or so since I purchased them. They're pretty comfortable, with only a slight discomfort around the thumb area inside the palm, but nothing that I have found prevents me from using them.

Fits well. The open thumb causes thumb to get stubbed sometimes. The padding in these gloves is minimal so if you hit hard your going to feel sore in your fists. But a good glove to begin with. But if you have experience on the bag and want to go hard invest in a better quality glove.

Was looking forward to these. However found them to be very poor, felt very cheap (despite being quite expensive!) and plastic. Padding very limited and hard. Really disappointing.

Great value for this pair of gloves and they fit my hands nicely. I use them a lot on my heavy bag which is also from Everlast. Padding is strong enough to hit hard on the heavy bag. Easy to put on and take off. Good quality material, but gets sweaty inside (like most gloves).
