Worked like a charm
The color of the spring shown is incorrect in picture. The springs in my machine are powder coated black. I ordered this one, same part number, figured I didn't care about color. The item as shipped is indeed black, same as original spring it is replacing. Spring installation went very well. Accidentally dropped spring during install and had to open the back panel to fetch. Turned out this was a blessing. As once panel was opened, saw that a tube had disconnected when tub fell a few inches. Also with back cover removed, it was much easier to install spring as 2nd person can just lift the tub, while 1st person lines up and inserts the spring with minimal load. Once the tub was in proper position, the rubber door boot snapped back in place and is all good. No need to remove or readjust. I had LG technician come out 3 years ago for same repair $150, this time I also called and they could not schedule anything for months, so took matters in my own hands seen what they did last time. Saved a lot of money, easy repair, from now on, seems I'll invest a few days and DIY. Can get done quicker, cheaper, and learn something in the process.

Matches up to quality of factory original
Time will tell, but my major question before making this purchase was, "Will it be of the same exact size and quality of the factory spring?" Indeed, it seems so, but time will tell.

Worked great for our LG washer
This was a blessing to buy! Fit perfectly once we watched videos on how to hoist the tub up enough to a lot the new spring in.This purchase saved us $1000 in repair bills!!!

Fixed my LG front loading washing machine
I'm renting and the property management company refused to repair the old front load washer. I'm handy so I searched the issue and identified the problem.
