Ollie took me by surprise in the best way!
💍Enemies-to-Lovers💍Fake Engagement💍Boy Obsessed💍One Bed💍Billionaire💍Forced Proximity💍Second Chance.“You’ve ruined me, Briar. Completely and utterly destroyed me for every other woman on this planet. It’s you or nothing.”.Review: This is book 3 in the Dark Prince Road series. We met Oliver in My Dark Romeo and My Dark Desire. If you have read them, you will understand why I was a little nervous for Ollie VB's book. But Ollie took me by surprise in THE BEST WAY!This book swept me up from the beginning and kept me so intrigued. I will say that Ollie was the best part.🤠He is the perfect mix of brooding, broken and utterly irresistible. His depth, his pain and the way he loves stole my heart. This man is incredible! He's the kind of hero you can't help but fall for! What this man will do for those he loves!!!I wanted to smack Briar upside the head a few times, but her chemistry with Ollie was undeniable. The push and pull between these two kept me turning the page, needing more. My heart broke for both Olle and Briar for all that they have endured. Especially a side character that I 🙏 gets their own story. It is pretty much a NEED at this point! I just wanted to give them all a hug and tell them it would be ok.LJ Shen and Parker S. Huntington delivered an emotional, angsty and intoxicating romance. If you love a dark, swoon-worthy romance with a touch of heartbreak and a whole lot of passion, My Dark Prince is a must-read! Ollie is officially my favorite man on Dark Prince Road!I got to listen to the audiobook by Christian Fox (a favorite) and Andi Arndt and they were absolutely fantastic. They both nailed their characters and brought them to life so perfectly! Highly recommend!

Enjoyed it
4.5My Dark Prince is book 3 in the Dark Prince Road series and I enjoyed it. This Sleeping Beauty Retelling follows Count Oliver von Bismarck, and Briar Rose Auer. Their story was emotional, and their friends to lovers turned enemies to lovers tale gave lots of drama, angst, longing, heartache, secrets revealed and second chances.Told from both the past and present day, the novel was one I couldn't put down. Briar and Oliver were such interesting characters. They were complex and gave us so much witty banter and undeniable chemistry. I fell in love with Oliver right from the start and loved him more with each passing chapter. My heart went out to Briar but at times I found her characters to be immature. However I loved these two together. We got the characters from the previous books showing up and I loved the banter with Ollie and his friends. The storyline with Seb was amazing, and I really hope we get his story next. This was an enjoyable read, and I would definitely recommend it to romance lovers.🎧🎧🎧🎧I listened to the audiobook, which was narrated by Andi Arndt and Christian Fox.They did a fantastic job giving these characters their own personality and bringing them to life. Their voices complimented each other and perfectly suited to the role for which they were cast. They gave us a great listening experience.

OMG WHAT A FABULOUS READ!!
Parker D Huntington and LJ Shen have written a humorous, passionate, fiesty final installment of the Dark Prince Road heroes and the incredibly strong-willed and sometimes ditzy heroines who love each other in spite of whatever befalls them. Reader already have met Oliver von Bismarck, and his childhood besties Romeo Costa and Zachary Sun. Having enjoyed their escapades and journey to happiness with Dallas who adores books and eating and the almost Olympic fencer Farrow aka Fae it is now time for Oliver. We know he is a Billionaire who doesn’t work and is a philander. But is he and does he? Briar Rose Auer has been in love with Ollie since they were children. He is her calm port in a life of neglect by her parents. She is his everything and then… it is the and then readers will learn and find themselves not being able to put down the book. Witty dialogue, pain, regrets, misunderstandings, moments of sheer levity… aka text messaging threads… lost family, found family and family in general… along with what constitutes and defines the word family. The authors have outdone themselves with this one. Finding pieces which somehow fit while readers try to presume knowledge they are lacking. A perfectly wonderful adventure we are all taken on. A reread is in order as are the 10 of 10 stars I would give it. Thank you both for the laughter, joy and oh my moments.

Mixed feelings
Okay so this is weird review for me to leave, I love Huntington’s work. She just a great writer and knows how to create a good romance novel with the best character interaction. That being said this book fell short with me, don’t get me wrong the story of two the MCs was good. But Jesus Christ man, the amount of comments made about Dallas left a bad taste in my mouth. Like every time she was brought up it was about her eating, and being a shop addict. It got to a point where I had to skip pages and skim over interactions because it just was ruining the book for me. I don’t know if it was goal of the authors to fat shame her or have be this un-relatable rich girl but it was so hard to focus on the couple. When you couldn’t help but feel bad for her while simultaneously not like her either .Though like I said the MCs of the story were cute and fun, and held me enough to where I finished the book. I just had to skim over some pages in order to keep myself locked in. Would definitely be curious to read Seb and his love interest. Just hopefully they leave out Dallas and Romeo 🤞 if they do.
