Fresh Turmeric, 500g

Very difficult leaving a review for a root. After all, Turmeric differs from one batch to the next, so am leaving my review solely on the quality of the batch I received a couple of days ago.I have psoriasis, and have found drinking tea infused with turmeric and ginger really seems to help. I've been buying turmeric from Waitrose for the past few years and the flesh has always (and I mean ALWAYS) been deep in colour and strong in taste. So much so that my fingers are usually bright orange and the utensils I use to prepare it (including the cup I drink from) are stained the same.******* I'm updating my review as most of the roots contain vibrant coloured coloured flesh with a potent turmeric taste. So I've upped my star rating from 3 to 5. Will deffo buy again!

Lovely and fresh fast delivery

Mostly very good but there was a little fungus on a few. But the good ones are of really good quality.

This was the first time I'd ordered produce like this online. It arrived really quickly and in great, fresh condition. There is quite a bit in one batch but, having checked some online advice, I've frozen what I've not used immediately. I just take a piece out of the freezer and grate it for use straight away. Still doing a great job at adding flavour and colour to our curries :)

Turmeric roots were soft as if stored for a long time. (Similar to an old carrot found in bottom of the fridge after months) Some were so dry,more like dried forest branches. Good price but that's because the quality was so poor. Rather pay more for fresh produce.

Probably kept about 2/3rds of the turmeric, the rest was rotten. What I did salvage was perfectly decent turmeric, and despite the problem I would try again in case I got a bad batch.

Good and rich taste. High quality and very fast absorption, either raw or added to a smoothie. I am definitely going to buy again.
