My daughter is a recorder player, and struggles with reading the bass clef. Most of these songs are treble for both hands — very simple and easy to read with large notes. Will appeal to the young learner with popular classical songs. They often hear on YouTube.

My granddaughter is taking piano lessons, and I got this book to help her. It explains and shows in illustrations where to put your hands. These are fairly easy to learn, she likes Swan Lake, Moonlight, and learning more and she is really good at playing the piano, thinks to help from this book. If you want to play the piano, I suggest you get this book.

The media could not be loaded. I really liked how this book arranged the songs in order of difficulty. It really helps to keep you motivated and on track because you can see how much you are progressing. The note names and finger positions are a great help too. Even an absolute beginner will be playing the classics in no time with this book

My son really wanted a book of classical songs but blew through this book and was still disappointed cause it's basically a snippet of the most memorable part of each song. None of these songs are complete. It is a nice variety and introduction to classical music if you're a newbie and just want to dabble.
