Hideaway Ironing Board Supreme Unfinished Maple with Raised Panel Door

The media could not be loaded. Excellent product. Exactly what I was looking for to save some space in our laundry room. Craftsmanship is great. Took stain and poly like a champ! Original wood was pretty but too light to match our stuff. Iron, starch, and water cup fit on top shelf, no problem. I use it every day!As a side note, their customer service was amazing. FedEx basically drop-kicked the package to my door and damaged a non-functional piece of wood. Customer Service rep responded faster than I could even keep up with. Replacement part arrived in no time and fit like a glove.

These are both well-made and easy to install (for my husband, anyway.) I ordered one from Amazon and the other directly from the manufacturer. Very good instructions on how to install them and when I called the manufacturer about a question, they were very helpful. Excellent products!

Love the sleeve board. The swiveling is great. Iron storage space needs to be one or two inches wider which would mean the storage cabinet would have to be a few inches longer as the board would terminate (when folded up) under the storage space. When we painted the inside of the board, the veneer on the inside immediately plumped out in a couple places. Tried some light sanding and re-painting, but didn't want to go through the veneer. Since drying out, veneer has partly gone back in place but two 3" to 4" plumped out lines remain. Since these are on the inside of the cabinet, just let it go. Outside is fine.

We are currently building a house, and we wanted to get this recessed ironing board cabinet for the laundry room. When we ordered, I noticed the cabinet face seemed to be shaker style (like the rest of our cabinets will be), but I did not zoom in and study the photo. The cabinet came earlier than expected and was packaged well, but when we looked at the door face, we realized it would not match the other cabinets we ordered with our builder. We did a search on amazon and discovered this company does sell a shaker style cabinet in the same wood for the same price. Instead of trying to repackage the entire cabinet, return it, and then reorder the correct one, my husband found their customer service number and tried calling. He was prompted to leave a message, which he did. He was certain he would not hear back from them, but lo and behold (!) they returned his call the next day and after my husband explained our mistake, he asked if we would be able to exchange just the door or if we could order just the door of the correct style. The customer service lady said she would just send us the door with the style we need if we only pay the shipping. To save us the hassle and inconvenience of having to repackage and return the entire cabinet, this sounded great to us! We plan to give the unneeded cabinet door to our trim guy if he’d like it.I can’t comment on installation or how it is to use yet, but wanted to leave a review for their wonderful & professional customer service. The cabinet *is* very nice looking and appears to be well constructed. We’re looking forward to having it painted and installed.

The old ironing board was a pain to pull down and use. If left out it collected purses , keys and other. We bought this and recessed into the wall. It is offCenter due to where the stud was. Easy installation for one person, a breeze to paint , and it just looks great. The ironing board itself is a good size and very sturdy. The swivel part is awesome due to where we had to put it. I have to say, it was BETTER than I expected.

Top notch customer service from the seller! Built a new house, ordered this, installed it, and 6 months later realized the cover for the board was way too short. I called the manufacturer and they called me back. She was so kind and is replacing my cover right away. You just don’t get that anymore. 💕

I liked the design with a main board that swivels left and right plus a sleeve-sized board. I was able to judiciously make a cut-out to add a duplex outlet to the top so the iron could be plugged in internally. Or you can puchase hardware from the manufacturer that also adds a light and timer. The door can be mounted left or right hinged. The material are good quality: veneered furniture quality plywood box solid maple face frame and door. The shelf has enough room for or iron and a spray bottle and is 11.5" below the face frame. I used better cabinet mounting screws than the drywall screws supplied. I have NOTHING negative. It's all good!

workmanship was shoddy, the instructions were confusing and the hinges broke when first trying to close the door. I have never been so dissatisfied with anything as I was with this.
