Looks great, sounds great

Really decent set-up. Aesthetically pleasing and the pickups sound great.However, don't expect to be able it fit this straight onto your Strat; some shoe-horning will be required. The holes in the pickguard won't line up with the existing holes in the body, so you'll need to pilot new ones. I also found the two screws on the humbucker too long for the pickguard to sit flat on the body, therefore I had to take these down slightly.Three wires will also need soldering.That said, this is a great looking, pre-wired unit at a fair price & a nice little weekend project if you want to breathe some new life into a tired old Strat.

Cant believe the value for money. The wiring / soldering is very professionally done and other suppliers could take note of this professional approach to marketing their products.The sound and output levels are great also.

Item was badly scratched

Pots and switches all good, pick-ups are on the hot side.

Bought this as my old pickups had gone microphonic and couldnt be bothered re potting. Marked as 4 stars as screw holes on this kit dont line up with any on my fender squire so had to drill the body again right after a refurbishment.Otherwise definitely recommend and 1st impressions they sound better than the originals did

If your cheap guitar Pickups fail, these are a good replacement.I like a fool thought it looked nice, which it does and hoped for the best as I watched the pennies by buying this item.These are for beginners and may be a great cheap fix.Not for high end guitars as you'll notice, like I did, the cheer drop in sound quality.My original fender strat was very offended.I have gone all out now and purchased a £350 set up.By the way these are cheaper on a place starting with a lower case e.Also this arrived scratched.
