SAPHUE 52.5mm Guitar Stratocaster Tremolo Bridge Set for Fender Strat Squier Electric Guitar Replacement Black

I was excited for this bridge when it arrived. It looks nice. A bit smaller than the Ibanez Edge, but thats ok. The bridge fit onto the 2 pegs previously installed on my Ibanez RG570. (The nut is different but that's ok, I was planning on using my old nut) The problem is that once I got it installed and started putting strings on...the screws to tighten down onto the little blocks and strings in the saddle just keep spinning! Completely unusable!

+ Thick plate with hardened steel inserts + Steel string locks, tuning screws, saddle inserts + nice matte finish, and all the parts match! + holds tune exactly as youd expect + feels solid and smooth in movement Overall, I am very impressed with the quality going on here, to the point that my project changed directions - originally I got this to put on a project, where I had used the JT-590 from my good ol Jackson as a template. The initial impression of this bridge was so good that I decided to bolt it onto the Jackson, and I am so impressed with it that I decided to keep it on (this is on my main player/workhorse) and put the 590 on the project! This also demonstrates that it matches the rout/post holes from the JT-590, which means it will fit in pretty much anything cut for an Original or Special FR, and most aftermarket licensed bridges based on those designs.

This thing is hideously bad. Stripped the low E string clamp screw right off the bat. I hardly tightened it and it stripped. Then a clamp screw for the locking nut stripped. I have 4 othet guitars with licensed Floyds with parts made of zinc oxide and never have any trouble with them. Also, the tremolo arm will not tighten. It just clunks and spins around. Save your money and just buy a Floyd Rose Special, or for not much more you can get a Gotoh.
