The one that most disappointed me was the multi-function tool
Not all items are as shown. The one that most disappointed me was the multi-function tool, what I received was a cheap picket knife with a few other functions. It is nothing even close to a Leatherman or Gerber brand multi-function tool with pliers. I continue to add to this backpack to make it my CERT ready pack or go-bag. I was hoping for a way to connect my real emergency blanket to the bottom of the pack, there are no hooks or straps. I haven't finished with all of the necessary supplies and already the backpack is a bit uncomfortable. I may end up buying another backpack that is larger and more functional. I thought the wings would be convenient, I'm rethinking that. I am still hopeful that this backpack will work for it's intended purpose.

Cheating me, eventually cheating themselves.
This product has some value, but I'm rating it in comparison to the same brand / same model / same product that I bought about 3 years ago. Wow, has the quality declined! I'm so tired of companies going for the bigger profits by decreasing quality and selling a cheaper version of the same product. The zipper's about half the durability. The material is thinner. Half of the pockets are gone. Half of the contents are absent compared to before. The material is already coming away from the zipper at the edge (see photo). I should have bought a backpack and outfitted it myself. This is an outrageous price to pay for so little.Companies that do this will see their business decline. The market is too competitive, and we have the advantage of consumers warning each other about inferior quality. Get you own pack, and outfit it yourself. You'll be far far better off.

Ugh Cheap!
Its a great concept, but the zipper came off the cloth on 1st use. We fixed it, but then looking at the poor quality of the contents we almost returned it. In the end we kept it as it goes in our extra car, and not our primary vehicles. Our road safety kits have all been filled with individual items we purchased on Amazon. This bag just isn't up to par with what our expectations were and the contents are pure junk. Writing this now... I wish we had returned it.

and the hygiene kits looks like its worth about $1
First the multitool cost about 2 dollars, the light in the back pack was not the correct one and did not fit, the emergency mirror was a small piece of tin foil, and the hygiene kits looks like its worth about $1.00 from the dollar tree. I would give the back pack a 4 out of 5 stars but the kit contents I give zero stars. This kit is not worth it, I would recommend buy your own backpack some where and build your own kit. This one the stuff inside is crap.

GEARED FOR LIFE
THE LIFE GEAR LG567 PROVIDES EVERYTHING NEEDED FOR THE MOST UNFORTUNATE OF SITUATIONS. IT LEAVES THE INDIVIDUAL WORRY-FREE IN CASE OF A DISASTER, AND PROVIDES SOME PEACE OF MIND IN ORDER TO DEAL WITH A MOST DIFFICULT TIME. WHILE I AM GLAD THAT I HAVE IT, I HOPE THAT I WILL NEVER HAVE TO USE IT.

Perfect bug-out bag for vehicle
Added a few things like an emergency tent, sleeping bag, fire starter, protection, etc. Perfect small pack to give my wife the 72 hours it will take her to get home cross country in case of an EMP situation and cars/electronics go down and chaos sets in.

Pack is Good - But wanted more Items
I was in the market for 40 packs (friends and family) so I ordered a couple that I had narrowed my search down to. I ended going with a different company pack. The quality of this back pack is much better than most emergency packs, but the emergency items I felt did not have as great of variety. If you are planning on doing a lot of hiking then this is a great bag, but if you are looking to provide for more people and wont be on any great treks you might look elsewhere.
