Very pleased with radio. Will use for emergency/off grid. Found my local weather band and am/fm stations easily. Went through all the function and preform well. Manual states on full charge will deliver 9-10 hrs radio / 15-17 hours on flash light. I added a photo of actual battery that I removed. I was very easy to remove and replace. Just two small philips screws from plate. Weight is very light at only about 1/2 pound. Size is compact at about 5 in. X 2 in. X 2 1/4 in. I was very surprised on quality and could hear weather report clearly on high at about 20 feet away. 1. Charged my phone by plugging in my charger cord from radio. Good for emergency power if needed. Will keep one in truck and in my outing gear. Manual states not to be used as a normal power bank. I figured it will be good when or if you are in a pinch. Cord supplied with radio is micro usb NOT type "C". Comes with micro usb x "I-phone" adapter included. My phone uses an android with a type "C" input so I used my own power cord. 2. Charged radio from a/c micro usb cord supplied with radio from my own a/c adapter. Only wished it would charge from type "C" and not micro usb is about the only negative I have with radio. Manual states it takes about 3 1/2 hrs to fully charge and it took a lil over 4 hrs when I did it. 3. Solar showed charging when placed even in very little light. In manual it states solar charging is difficult for full charging but for battery maintaining. Manual states solar panel life is 25 years when used 6 hrs. per day. Might need a new one in my lifetime lol. 4. Hand crank is easy to turn and showed charging while I was winding. Manual says 3-5 mins for intial use and wind 130 - 150 rpm for power to be generated. Says 7 hrs. Winding for full charge lol. Good news is 1 min winding 3-5 mins of radio and 45 - 60 mins of light. So there's that. A good price for about $16 it is a no brainier to have one or even 2 on hand (truck, home, cabin, camping/hiking, boat ect.) Hope this review helps. Love it! Can't believe something so small and inexpensive works so well . Holds a charge for hours after sitting in the sun Plus it has two sides with USB ports as a second method. 3rd is a hand crank , turns easily, but it does take a long time to recharge if that's all can you have in an emergency.. Good quality audio which is amazing but esp good having weather band. Even being so small, the flashlight is pretty good. (Photo in a dark closet. )Compact, great backpack size. More than worth the money and would be a thoughtful small gift.

Haven’t had the need to use this yet. My BIL is an insulin dependent diabetic and he and my sister live close. I got this to make sure his cell phone stays charged in power outages to be able to use his Lifestyle Libre and still get his alerts in insulin changes. So happy that you can use batteries, solar power, rechargeable power if available, and it hand cranks a charge. Having a radio and flashlight is great also. It may just save his life.

The first thing you notice is that it is made with better materials than the other companies use. Doesn't feel cheap. The flashlight has ONE SETTING, so you don't have to click through low, med, high, strobe, and SOS. GOD that's annoying. The knobs are stiff, so they don't feel like they will fall off. The reception is just fine. The speaker is big enough, Its not built for using at a dance party ok. Also, FM and AM work just fine, but here in Reno, NV the weather band is a little staticky. It's doable though. I am about 25 miles from the weather station on the mountain. I'm sure the larger version works even better. I highly recommend this radio.

After recently having a fluke snow storm in an area that doesn't get snow but maybe a little flurry once every few years, that downed thousands of trees and power lines and left some folks with no power for almost six days ( I was one of the lucky ones who only went 1 day without), it was a difficult reminder to be prepared. I fortunately had a full tank of gas in my snowbound car lol and that's where I had to warm up and charge my phone. I have had a crank radio and flashlight in the past and had been wondering if there was such a thing as a crank phone charger, as I was skeptical as to how well a solar charger would work on dark stormy days with minimal sunlight. Then low and behold this nifty gizmo popped up and it is EXACTLY what I was looking for. I imagined it to be this big bulky thing but as you can see from the photo I included it's next to my computer mouse. People have to remember this is a manual crank device and the instruction booklet says 3-5 minutes of cranking will fully charge the device. That does make your arm tired pretty quickly but this is ok as far as I'm concerned because it is better than NO flashlight radio, and charger. As for how it works: Radio: I opened cranked the handle a few times and tried the radio...It works! Flashlight: I cranked the handle maybe for 15 seconds and turned the flashlight on....It works! ' It's a very bright LED light and I just left it on facing the wall while we watched tv. It never dimmed at all and after about 2.5 hours I went to bed and had to turn it off. SO it stayed on all that time with just that little bit of cranking. Phone Charger: I cranked the handle 20 times (I counted Lol) and plugged my phone in....It works! At 73% My phone made the tell tale beep of when you plug a charger cord into it and after about 10 minutes my phone had charged up about 6%. At 73% it says roughly 59 min until fully charged. I imagine if I cranked the unit until it was fully charged, it will charge the phone more. SO, it is slower than a wall charger, but THAT IS OK to me. It has just proved itself that is works in all aspects and I am satisfied that I have a new tool to help myself survive and emergency. OH and there is also a solar panel on the top of the unit that also charges the battery in the unit. This little thing seems totally worth the very affordable price.

You get what you pay for. It is definitely functional, but it seems to be cheaply built, so I question durability in an emergency situation. It will work in a pinch, but for how long? Good first step I guess.

Got this in case of a power cut and it works brilliantly, hand cranking ability, solar charging ability and wired charging as well, radio functions great and have connected to several channels successfully, the light is pretty strong as well and is very useful especially when in a pinch. No issues with it so definitely 5 stars from me, would definitely recommend especially for the price compared to some of the others.

Excellent device! Everything works on it and it's the perfect size to take on the go. Very useful. The radio stations are clear and you can charge your phone with it as well. The hand crank works incase you can't solar charge and the light is very bright. I would buy it again!
