Small but worthy!
So far, the pump is working well. A bit smaller than I expected but does move a good amount of water quickly.

Fast But Very Stiff Hose
I bought this to pull water collect in an overflow basin in the basement floor. I've used it once. It was easy to assemble...see comment on hose...and is much faster than using a plastic cup to scoop out the water. The hose is very rigid and want to stay curled. Stretching it out didn't help much. Perhaps this is OK for using this pump on a boat but was not helpful in trying to catch water in a bucket. That's why I gave a four star rating.

Good, but with a caveat
I purchased this to help remove water from a hot tub during water replacement. The pump is easy to use and quickly removes a large volume of water [about 4-5 pumps remove 1 gallon of water]. However, here's the problem: the hose comes packaged in a coil and it's impossible to straighten it out [not at all flexible]. Thus, two people were required to use the pump: one person doing the pumping and the other person holding the hose straight so that the water is discharged away from the spa. Either the packaging or the quality of the hose needs to be addressed in order to prevent this problem.

Moves water fast
I bought this for boat emergency, and also to pump out a potty,It really moves a lot of water quickly, I do wish it came with a rubber seal for the end of it and the hose was more flexible
