Battery is excellent but my charger was bad.
Update: I ordered another battery and had a similar experience. The light bulb in my head went off that maybe the charger had failed. Bingo! We had to rig a charger from a gel nail light (with the correct specs) and this battery was A-Okay!I take back the original poor review. Five stars!Original review - This lasted less than three months with very little use and at no time was run to empty.

Works good.
Nice DC-16 replacement battery. Lasts a long time after charging. Paired this with a new 28v DC charger wall wart. The old original Dyson charger failed over time and made the Dyson DC-16 do the turn on, turn off death ritual. Recommendation ........ replace both to revive your DC16 vacuum. Takes a long time to charge this 5000 MAh battery to full, but it also goes beyond the original 6 minute use charge. You'll be happy. I am again.Be sure your original Dyson DC-16 charger hasn't failed with time, mine did. Voltage would fire up at 28vdc, then would drop to 16vdc after about 2 mins. (Bad internal capacitor on the charger?) Check it.Glenn P.

Fits perfect, works perfect.
This battery is a perfect replacement for the original Dyson battery. It's much more powerful than the original as well. Much longer lasting. The price is very fair and the performance makes it the best that you could hope for. Definitely five stars. I hope this has been helpful.

Waste of money
Worked ok for a couple of weeks and then just died. Would not charge at all and no longer works, I can’t use my Dyson until I get another battery. Sorry I wasted my money on it.

Great Fit!
Solid fit in my Dyson, charge lasts for all my needs. Better than all other replacements I've tried.

So far, so good
No idea on Battery Life or Battery Longevity since I've only had this replacement for less than a month. I was a little skeptical about fit given multiple comments about being "too tight". I had no problem installing mine ... it was tight but it fit. Since I don't remove mine except when it dies, I anticipate that fit is not an issue for me (or others).

New life for an old Dyson vacuum cleaner
My Dyson is getting up there in age. That said, still going strong. Every few years I replace a battery, and it feels young again.This battery fits and works well. It has big capacity and allows to operate the vacuum for long period of time. Recommended.
