Quiet and efficient
Looks nice. Is quiet and efficient. Installation was pretty smooth, had a few bumps, but it went in an old house, so that's just about every experience. The wires were a little short & came through the opposite side for what I needed but we made it work. The light is very bright. Seems like it will be easy to maintain and keep clean. Does what I need it to.

rocker switch loose, cheap switch otherwise pretty nice
the overall fan looks nice, however, the led lights are too far forward and shine on the knobs (too bright), so that it is difficult to read the numbers on the burner knobs and the rocker switch is cheap plastic fitting that sticks out of the hole! Once it is installed...which is definitely a two person job, you sure don't want to take it down. Fan is fairly quiet and the stainless is nice looking. Overall it's nicer looking than the old one, but I would prefer a light that screws in like the cheaper versions of this hood have! Broan, I wish you would make your product with the same quality switches that were on the 20 year old hood this replaced--they fit well and worked well--(that would be a $70.00 hood today!)

Very quiet. At low speed i can barely hear it! The LED lights are bright and i would have liked a low-high switch.

Hood / range
I received the hood quickly! But when we went to install we noticed it had no power cord with it. Major inconvenience & also should be stated in description so it can be purchased at the same time.

Easy installation and very quiet.
This hood was very easy to install. I love how quiet the motor is. We can still easily hear our TV when it's on high, unlike our last hood. It does a great job at clearing the steam and smells out.

Good luck finding filters!
This is a great hood. I haven't been able to put it to practical use yet, however it is quieter than I expected and seems to move a lot of air. Finding charcoal filters has been a challenge though. The part number listed as OEM (S97020466) is also the part number on the Broan website but they are too small for my hood. The filters that come with it are 13-7/8" by 15-5/8". I have not been able to locate this size yet. I ended up ordering a sheet of charcoal and will construct my own somehow.
