I recently tried the Reusable Clay Mold Making kit that requires only hot water for use. I remember this came out in japan maybe 20 or so years ago and was delighted to find it. The concept behind this mold-making kit is quite innovative. It uses hot water to shape the clay, which is a unique approach compared to traditional mold-making methods that often involve complex chemicals or materials. The process is straightforward: you immerse the mold material in hot water, mold it to your desired shape, and let it cool. The molds come out well-defined and sturdy, which is great for a variety of crafting projects. The kit offers good value for its price. Given that it’s reusable and relatively easy to use, it’s a cost-effective option for mold-making. Amazing mold making compound for a decent price compare to similar items. The versatility of being able to reuse again and again increases its value. You really only get a small amount in one order only suitable for smaller molds. I've used several epoxy resins, epoxy clay, plaster and Quikrete. None of them stuck solid to the mold, but when making a two part mold the second part heats up and fuses to the first really well, making them hard to separate.

This silicone like product is now part of my long list of favorite tools. Easy to use and re use. So many uses. Can be uses to make temporary gaskets, Plugs.

Purchased this to make a mold of an industrial terrain piece for a wargamming model base. Any little drop of water that is left on the molding material will leave a tiny void in the mold and you'll have soft/rounded details. I feel like it would probably be better used for smaller projects rather than trying to mold a topper for an 80mm base.

This product works great when it comes down to casting more little parts that you need for miniatures. Or anything you may need casting. I need some more magazine pouches for a squad of tactical Marines This is a great way to make more of that part at a very low price.10/10 Will recommend

Need to make a quick and small reusable mold of something for resin epoxy? This is what you need!All you do is boil it for a minute, and then quickly form it around whatever you want to cast. Then wait a couple minutes for it to cool off and harden and just like that you have a reusable, non-stick resin mold! Done with the mold? Boil it again and use it for somethings else, it never goes bad.I've used this stuff to make molds of necklace hearts, LEGO pieces, quarters, men's rings, and many others. You have to get it!

I used it to mold a part I lost for my tank model. Took a few tries to figure out the temperature. First tries were too hot and both sides of the mold just melted together but it was easy to just heat up the messed up molds and retry. End result with using epoxy putty as the part material turned out nice.
