There are a growing collection of DVDs on Jimi Hendrix and this is yet another about his 1968 masterpiece Electric Ladyland.This is a well produced and enjoyable document which includes interviews from Chas, Noel, Mitch and Buddy with producer Eddie also discussing the production techniques of the album.It would be great to hear this complete album in 5.1 one day soon.There are no bonus material extras included that I could see.

If you haven't got Electric Ladyland (why not...?) and if you haven't got Classic Rock: The Making of Electric Ladyland then best value is the 40th edition CD/DVDThe DVD on the 40th is identical to this oneThis DVD contains the same material as the Classic Rock DVD plus 18 minutes of material that adds little.The rating is based on value for money and less than clear marketing, (I found out the hard way) the content is excellent.
