I bought two of IKEA's belatedly-new (and according to eBay and Mercari market prices very limited run) series of FREKVENS speakers. Unfortunately the speakers are really intended to be played in mono whether through Bluetooth or through running a single line in and out to connect to other speakers. This cord was perfect in delivering two separate sound channels from one stereo channel, thus creating a really good stereo sound from the speakers, which for the heavily discounted price ($28 instead of $70 a pop) sound really good on their own. Sadly this seems to be the only listing on Amazon for a set of jack plugs like this one, and it took me around half an hour before I came upon it.

How I use this: I have a ham radio (ICOM ID-5100A) that has two receiver channels. It goes in my car and sometimes is removed to the shack. I have one of these in each location.In the car, the two channels of the radio are combined as if stereo, and hooked into the AUX jack of the car, where one channel is on the left speakers, and the other is on the right. The cable has withstood the usual mechanical jostling and both freezing (15F) and hot car (120F) temperatures without a glitch of any sort.In the shack, the cable bridges the gap between the radio and a pair of powered computer speakers. Very sweet.This cable is a neat, cheap solution to a thorny problem ... and all I had to do is buy it. Otherwise I'd be at a soldering iron and purchased plugs and jacks. This is so much neater.GSM

Great quality cable at a reasonable price. I was trying to use this to send music from my computer to two Echo Studios using one for the left channel and one for the right channel. This works, but there's some kind of glitch in the Echo studios that throws off the sound on music when you're using the echoes normally with alexa. So I had to unplug it. Not just an issue for me but for other people. Just posting this here in case other people try to use these with Echo studios in stereo.

Worked as advertised

I was looking for something to split the stereo sound from an outdoor movie projector to left and right outputs going to separate speakers. I originally found a male trs to right/left mono ts splitter hear on amazon, but there was interference (humming/buzzing) heard in the speaker, probably from poor quality shielding. I tried 3 of them, with the same issue. I found this cable next and it has done the intended job without any interference, so I am satisfied with this product that does the job as intended.
