I looked everywhere for a replica Leg lamp from A Christmas Story but couldn't afford one so I made my own. This leg worked perfectly for my idea and made the build cost effective as well.

My only dislike about this item is the lead pellets that were used to weight it. We removed them because we used it for another purpose, we made a leg lamp from A Christmas Story! We drilled a hole in the bottom and weren't expecting the lead pellets. They went everywhere on my kitchen floor and I was a little bit concerned about that, but if we had used it as a display like we were supposed to, it wouldn' have been an issue. Just be aware of that. It came very quickly and arrived in time.

This was the perfect size, and worked perfectly for my full-size leg lamp I made! Great quality!

I purchased this to make a leg lamp for a holiday parade our soccer club was in. I was able to drill some holes in it to hold it in place and to attach a light mechanism. It worked great, very solid!!!

Bought this as a birthday party prop but our 4 yr old has had a blast with it the last few days. Required a lot of explaining to her at first though. Lol... Very sturdy and well made. Shipping was extremely fast.

Description states 29 3/4" H. The leg I received was 26" H. I immediately returned the item. I can understand colors not being quite as pictured, but a measurement in inches is a different matter, especially if it's a 3 3/4 inch difference.
