Heated Jacket Hoodie for Men & Women – Winter Coat, Outdoor Clothing, Bluetooth Controlled with 3 Adjustable Heating Zones

I’m really happy with this hoodie! I spent weeks comparing all the heated coats and hoodies on amazon before deciding on this one. The customer service was fantastic when asking when my size would be available again. Within 10min they responded. It turned out they had one left and sent me the link to purchase it through amazon.This hoodie is very well made and true to their sizing chart. The material is thick and comfortable. The hood itself is a good size which is a plus. I really like having two inside zipper pockets as well.As for the battery I have had no issues and it lasts all night on one charge. I’ve gotten 4hrs on just high setting and up to 10hrs alternating from medium and low settings. I did purchase a second battery so I can always have one charged ready to go. It’s great you can use any power bank that’s a 5V 2.1A output for this reason. The battery that comes with it is lightweight and not bulky. I don’t really notice it much when wearing it.I was worried it wouldn’t get hot enough but this thing really does heat up nice. I usually put it on high for a few minuets then switch between medium and low the rest of the night unless it’s extremely cold, then I’ll leave it on high.Overall this was a great buy and I’m very happy with my purchase. It’s been below zero here most nights and I’m able to work outside comfortably.

I have owned several other heated sweatshirts from other brands and this one from Venture Heat stands out as much better than the others. First off, it fits very well and is just overall very comfortable, even without the heating turned on. The battery is average size, but it doesn't weigh things down and doesn't cause that side of the sweatshirt to hang lower than the other. Also, the barrel connector that connects the battery to the wiring in the sweatshirt is right-angle - this sounds like a minimal thing, but is actually a really good idea. Some other sweatshirts I've owned had this cable coming straight off the battery so it would poke me in the stomach every time I sat down. Not a problem with this sweatshirt though! The inside pockets are also a plus.The one complaint I have is consistent across the board with heated sweatshirts: manufacturers keep putting the on/off light on the outside of the sweatshirt. Sadly, this one is no different. But I've yet to find a heated sweatshirt that doesn't have a bright light on the outside. I don't really want to draw attention to myself but it's unavoidable with that light on the front. I understand the need to know which heat setting you're currently on, but maybe putting the light under a flap on the outside, or having it be able to be turned off without turning off the heat, or putting the light on the inside, or inside an outside pocket - any number of solutions would be preferable to a bright glaring light. Like I wrote, this is the only complaint I have with this sweatshirt, and it seems to be common among all heated sweatshirts.Otherwise, this is a great sweatshirt! I literally wear it every single day in the winter and am no longer cold all the time! When I had an issue, customer service was very helpful and responsive and fixed my issue. Would definitely recommend and would buy again.

Very nice quality hoodie. Thick and heavy. Battery and heat was easy to set up and use. Wore it to go walk through a Christmas light display!

I really like this jacket. It is fashionable looking. And it does what you expect. I really like the glow badge on the front that has 3 different colors: blue, white, red depending on whether you have heat set at low, medium or high. It also has an inner pocket to store your phone, provided it's of medium size. It's also very comfortable. It heats up within a few minutes.If you plan on getting it, get one size larger than what you would normally order. I am a large, but I found the large jacket to be too tight for comfort.There are some things I really wish they improved on. My biggest gripes involve the battery. First the pocket to place the battery is a little too small. For large, it's not easy to put the battery in or remove it. The same size battery is used on the XL size, but the pockets on the XL are larger, so its not a problem on XL. Perhaps the smaller jackets the problem is worse.Second, the battery uses a 8.4v outlet/jack to supply heat and for charging. This is a problem, because none of the batteries to power your electronics can be used on the jacket, since most batteries for electronics do not have an 8.4v outlet. You are forced to use their battery. Since there are so many batteries on the market of all sizes, shapes, performance, and price, I think this is a severe restriction. I realize this might be due to the power requirements for heating the jacket, but there are some battery for electronics with two outlets, perhaps you can combine them for the energy needs. (Perhaps later models of this jacket address this issue.)Third, the heat pads do not warm up at the same rate. They eventually get to the same temperature, but the "battery side" heat pad warms up faster than the other side.Fourth, the heat pads are on the chest. That's not bad, but the chest is usually the last thing you want warmed. It's usually the limbs, neck area, your ears, basically your extremities where you wish heat was directed. It would be nice if later gens would provide heating for your fore limbs, neck area, the hoodie too. Or at least give the option for it.Finally, the chest area is the least insulated. That makes sense, b/c the heat pads are in it. But sometimes, you don't want the power. The coat should be a good coat to start and be augmented with some heating. It's not bad, but non-heated jackets seem to retain heat more.None of my complaints are show stoppers. I'm hoping the designers read it. Overall the coat / jacket is an excellent choice.
