CXO Executive Mid Back Chair in Black w Headrest (Gray)

After numerous office chairs I forked out the extra funds and went back to one I've used over the years at work. Very comfortable and adjustable. The only con I have is I'm 6'3" so the shoulder height could be a little higher other than that it would be all 5 stars from me.

Chair arrived without assembly instructions. After mating the base to the seat/seatback assembly I realized the 3 plastic tubular dust protectors on the center (silver) pole were in the wrong order such that they did not properly telescope and retract as the chair height is raised and lowered. I believe their purpose is to protect the mechanism from dust and corrosion.Problem is you apparently cannot pull the chair off the base once it is assembled. It cannot be disassembled, it seems.I emailed Nightingale for help - they sent me the 2nd pic that I have enclosed with this review. When pressed further for how to remedy the situation no further communication was forthcoming from them. They ghosted me.So no thanks, Nightingale, for the setup for failure nor for offering a path to work through this problem you dumped on me.And for anyone contemplating an office chair purchase from this company let this be fair warning of the treatment you will receive if anything goes south.

Wonderful chair. Fits my back, supports my shoulders, it's so comfortable. Best office chair I have ever had, hands down.
