Way better than nexgard tegaderm and many other brands
I’m sensitive to adhesives but have no issues with these. As long as the skin is clean (wipe well with alcohol even if just got out of shower and let dry a minute), then there won’t be an adhesion issue.I also sweat a lot during the summers which is why I use these as my medicated patches will not stay on by themselves. I place these over the top of them at the same time I reapply the medicated patch. Then work perfectly. I have never had one come off ever. Other brands have come off left and right causing me to lose my prescription patch also. It’s a good idea to rub the transparent dressing firmly with a warm to hot hand prior to peeling off the application paper. Make sure to pay attention to the edges and such. If anything hasn’t firmly adhered then use a warm/hot hand to get it to go down.I only leave on for 3 days at a time but in that period I take showers and all without a problem. Sometimes they’re so sticky that I can barely lift the edge to remove. If do place over something when you remove whatever is under it is coming up also.I recommended even if your not sensitive to adhesives to move the location even 1/4” each application so your skin can breath 100% for a couple of days. I completely move away from where the prior was applied when I put on the new one.

Amazingly the adhesive didn't break my skin out.
These are awesome. I have a problem with any adhesives. It doesn't matter which brands of bandages, they all cause my skin to become red and raised in the same shape as the bandages. A friend who is a nurse had me try these. (She uses them to hold IV tubes down to the patient's arm so they don't get pulled out). These worked great. I didnt have any reaction. Some how it stays perfectly attached. Plus they let the wound breath but don't let water molecules from the shower in nor the ointment on the wound out. These are amazing and I wish I had found these earlier.

Great for delicate skin
These transparent dressings are very effective. My spouse has paper thin skin and suffers from frequent medication-induced skin tears that bleed sometimes excessively. I’m a retired nurse and use these on him to keep them intact while the healing process takes place. I can monitor for any signs of infection and then seek help from our medical doctor if needed. I leave them in place anywhere from 3 to 7 days to let his own natural defenses take over. When it’s time to remove them, I recommend using alcohol on a cotton ball as you gently remove them a little at a time. Of course, don’t get alcohol in the wound and only use it close to the still-healing skin tear. His wounds usually need a few more days of healing with open air (no dressing or bandage) before they completely close. Another good thing about these is they are waterproof so he can shower without it coming off. Hospitals use these to cover IV sites so they can be monitored so they are a very frequently used dressing.
