Works great !!! On glass
VERY STURDY held on no issues at all , A lot of people mount it to the panels of the car which might be why it falls off for some , I put it on the windows and it held on great going 70+ on the highway, just clean the glass before you mount it , also don't use the ball mount that it comes with it's not very sturdy and you'll probably end up loosing your camera has broken according to many other reviews , use the smaller ones and make a 90. Degree one for good angles !

It sucks
So like any other day I discided after buying this product that I would try it. First I wiped down the surface of the vehicle, then I wiped down the suction cups then I attached my GoPro to the mount and put the sucker on. That’s when the first red flag came the suckers well sucked and well it worked then I drove down the road and that’s when I had the idea of putting it on my windshield like in the photos, so I put it on my windshield not before wiping it down again. So when I’m going down the road at like 45 the Thing FALLS OFF and my GoPro was smashed the back cover came off and the top part was broke off the mount itself was destroyed and I have the 2014 GoPro hero where I couldn’t take it out of the case so I have a GoPro that still works thank god with a hole in the case and the back broke off so if you want to wreck your GoPro then buy this.

Secure camera mount
Having three suction cups gives me a little more confidence when mounting my GoPro camera on the outside of my car.

Came exactly as advertised
Couldn’t be happier with this. Pretty sturdy little thing with great suction. The base itself locks pretty tight and even on the car offroad it held up and didn’t wobble or come loose. Very cool product. Would recommend this for sure.

A Keeper With Some Modifications
This is a very limited use review as I only received it today and did some very quick testing to attach to the side of my car. Before ordering I asked the question of whether or not I would be able to replace the very flimsy looking ball head that comes with it, with another ball head and received the reply that yes I would be able to do that. With that in mind I did place the order and when I received it today I double checked to make certain that that is in fact correct and am happy to say that it is. As a matter of fact, it comes somewhat disassembled so that you have to install the included ball head. It uses a standard 1/4 inch screw, which is the same size as the one that goes into the bottom of your camera. Looking at the ball head that comes with it which is made 100% of plastic except for the threads that the head attaches to the base with and the screw that goes into the camera, it really looks flimsy to me, even for something as light as an action camera, such as the GoPro, or for a cell phone. I immediately went to Amazon and ordered a much more substantial metal ball head for around $7 (well, at least substantial compared to the flimsy plastic one that came with it). Even with the better head I'll still tether the camera to any moving vehicle if I have it on the outside. The reason I ordered the better head instead of sending the whole unit back is because the base with the suction cups seems to be quite solid and capable. I like the design of the base unit with the three suction cups which can be angled up and down to fit different contours a little better. The screws and nuts that hold the suction cups to the main base appear to be a light metal. Also the pins on the cams that draw the suction plastic up to get a secure hold are metal, though everything else is plastic. After cleaning off the side of my car with a wet cloth and then wiping the suction cups with that same wet cloth I mounted the holder to the side of the car and tried to pull it off. I put probably a hundred times more pressure on it than the camera ever will and it didn't budge. However . . . considering that I may be driving on rough roads/trails etc, I don't know what the dust, vibration and other physics may do to work it loose, so, as I mentioned before I will never put the camera on a moving vehicle without being tethered with a length of tether that will not allow the camera to hit the ground if it comes loose for any reason. If you are looking for something to mount for this type of application and you are only going to mount a very light camera, I think this would do the trick nicely for you and at a very economical price. As mentioned above, however, I would strongly recommend spending another $8 to $10 and get a ball head that is mostly if not entirely metal. Make sure it has a 1/4 inch mounting screw hole in the base, NOT a 3/8 inch like the more heavy duty ones use. Obviously the attached photo is with the very light duty included ball head as I have not received the new one I ordered yet.I will update if anything changes.

Not bad but not good
The suction cups work ok, I stuck it to my wrx hatchback and going on nice smooth roads it's nice but my suspension is kind of stiff so any but shakes the cam, going through different road conditions the camera shakes quite a bit so make picture quality kind of crappy but I'm just happy it didnt fall off my car lol over all not bad over smooth roads but bumpy roads no good

Broken within minutes
I tried using this with a selfie stick and the ball joint wouldn't tighten enough to properly clamp the ball. so I sanded down the plastic a bit and got it to work. But then the connecting piece couldnt even support the weight of the stick and a phone extended only one piece. It wasn't even all the way out! It snapped immediately. Waste of money, get something with stronger joints it you plan to use it with a selfie stick. The suction was good though and if you want to keep the camera close to the car i suppose it might work.
