Good sound, useful features, annoying shortcomings
I've been a Sol fan since the original Tracks came out a few years back. I've owned two pairs of the V10's and the Deck bluetooth speaker. I appreciate their innovative designs and quality sound. I was very excited to purchase the Amps, especially at $50, I just couldn't resist. I'll begin with this: for my specific use case they are virtually perfect. For other people they might not be.THE GOOD-Really excellent sound. Punchy bass (subwoofer-in-head sensation is neat) clear highs, all around enjoyable listening experience. Personally I think they could use 1-2 more clicks of volume, but my main earbuds are MEE M6 Pro IEM's so I'm used to having more volume.-Really pretty case-Bluetooth 5.0 is fast and generally reliable-Decent microphones, people have no trouble hearing me over the phone-Passive noise cancelling is really good, you can't hear people talking unless they are very close-Emergency phone charger is a nice feature for forgetful people like meTHE BAD-Took my ear canal a loooooong time to adjust to these earbuds. Like a whole week. Along with the fitment issues came head splitting pressure differences that muted the music for long periods of time-Play time is kinda trash. 3-4 hours is not great, most other true wireless earbuds in the 130-150 price range are 6 hours minimum. For me, walking between classes and to and from my car they are perfect. Wouldn't recommend for long road trips or work days.-Occasional signal drops, stuttering & inconsistent timing between ears. Never lasts for more than two seconds and its never happened more than once in a day. Still annoying when it does-Range isn't great, I couldn't get more than a few feet away from my phone without losing connection-If you don't pull both earbuds out of the case at the same time, the pairing gets jacked up and its annoying to fix-The on ear buttons have two different press resistances and they only offer play/pause/accept call/hang up/siri functionality. No volume control or skipping songsTHE UGLY-Charging case developed and awful hinge squeak literally on the second day of ownership. That felt bad-You cannot replace or upgrade the earbud tips because of the case shape. If the four sizes offered by SOL don't fit your ears you are out of luck-Ear buttons are sticky and unreliable. Pausing the music makes me have to mash the earbud, often causing discomfort as the pressure in my ear canal rapidly increases.FINAL VERDICTFor a college student looking to blow $50 on a toy to avoid having to talk to people in between classes these couldn't be more perfect. They perform well and offer a feature set that is useful and appealing. At $130 I would feel ripped off. I can't help but wonder if Amazon entered the wrong price by accident. 4/5 stars for the price point only. Any more expensive and it drops down to 3/5

Multiple pairs have sound quality issues.
I've had this exact kind of headphones 3 times and each time, the sound for the left headphone decreases. The first time I had these, they lasted for about a year before they lowered in quality. But just recently I got a pair and had to get them replaced because I lost them. Just to get another pair and they do the same thing as the first. Now I have to keep both earbuds on me otherwise when I use the right one and venture off, it loses connectivity with the left bud.All in all, more of a hassle than it's worth, but I bought my 2nd pair at $49.99 compared to $129.99 the first time. So the worth is a tad different when the price decreased.

Great For All Styles Of Music
Sol Republic has made another great product, I have purchased several of their earbuds and headphones and these are some of my favorites. Clear, powerful base, great mid-range sound, great for movie watching as well. My phone has Dolby Atmos and it simulates the effects almost as well as headphones do.EDM and other music genres that have a focus on bass are where these buds truly shine, but other genres such as Rock and pop sound good as well.Battery life is great, I've had them last for 2 weeks without having to charge the case as I normally use these at work when I'm not on the phone or in meeting.Get a full charge on my iPhone 7 with half a charge left on the case as well. Would definitely recommend.

Better Than Momentum’s
Better than the Sennheiser Momentum’s for me. Ordered both those and these. Returned the Momentum’s due to battery draining quickly and volume not being that high. What those reached at 100% volume, these reach at only 60%. They’re LOUD. The low end here is amazing. At the $50 they’re at right now its a no brainer.

An Unfortunate Step Down From the Previous Model and Basicaly Ruined
I was excited to see these were available from Sol Republic. I had the 1st model and used them every day for the commute I had. They lasted about 3 hours and allowed either bud to be used in mono form. The bass hit HARD and they sounded great. Enter the 2.0 which fixed the moisture issues the 1st series had and would cause the speaker to die out early and fixed connectivity issues.I placed the 2.0’s in my ears and they did connect immediately and this was a major jump over the previous generation that worked fine but took long. Next was the sound.QUIET…. I had to turn my volume up to 60% just to hear anything or I could be drowned out by polite conversation. Full blast? Maybe 50% of the previous Sol Republic Amp Air’s Version 1.0. This is a deal breaker, no thundering bass and low volume. This is extremely noticeable and makes me have to pass on these. Finally, the MONO pairing is gone, only the left ear bud can be used alone not both. This is terrible for people that use one while keeping one ear open in like an office. That means when it dies you have to wait for it to charge instead of swapping them out. This is a terrible decision.Avoid.

Not bad for $40
Had these for a few weeks now. My ears have always been alittle finicky when it comes to in ear buds but these stay in nicely. Decent sound and battery life. I like that this still has the physical button on them to avoid unnecessary actions that I experienced on others with touch controls.Only downside is there is no volume control on the earbuds you have to control the volume on your source device.Wouldn't pay $100 + for these but if you get one of the colors that are around $40 it's worth the price....

These earphones are great for outdoor activities, which any earphone of this type can come off if you get excessive earwax while running. its sound quality is good considering the Bluetooth 2.0 protocol, although it can improve if you use a foam pad in the lower frequencies.
