I have coarse, thick, wavy (read "naturally tangle-y") hair. I also live in South Texas where it's very HUMID ~ which means FRIZZ. I have literally tried all kinds of products trying to find something that would help "tame" it. Nothing ever worked for all my concerns. If it controlled the frizz or tangles, it weighed my hair down, making it look greasy or dirty or worse, made my scalp itch if I actually got it on my skin.This product is REMARKABLE. First, it comes with a pump ~ I know it doesn't say it does, but it does, which makes it really easy to use the oil. It smells GREAT! Not perfume-y, it doesn't smell fake or strong ~ I am rather sensitive to scents and this one doesn't bother me in the least, in fact I love it. It kind of reminds me of really good vanilla, but it's not a vanilla scent. I know, not helpful ~ but my point is, it really is a pleasant smell, subtle and rich.I literally use DROPS ~ little tiny drops ~ I use 3 drops of this oil (I used to use 4, but 3 drops work fine ~ I use the hair mask once a week as well), rub my hands together and then "brush" my oiled hands through my freshly washed, towel dried hair ~ My hair is to my mid-back. This helps me to "pick" out the FEW (used to be MANY, but no more) tangles EASILY and it seems to disperse very evenly ~ no "greasy" spots.Now, what does my hair look like when it's dry? Light, shiny, bouncy, healthy. NO FRIZZ!!! NO TANGLES!!! and did I mention SOFT? It is SUPER SOFT! I couldn't stop touching my hair. It felt like I had just left a salon.I will NEVER not have this product.I also purchased the hair mask by the same company ~ I do recommend them both, but if you can only purchase one product at the moment, make it this ~ the oil.

I put this on my hair when it is wet then again when it is dry. I use it every day. My daughters use it too. My hair stylist got me hooked on it - it is less expensive here on Amazon than at the salon so I buy it here. I also use a bit to freshen my hair or to tame the static during the winter.I try to keep my hair as natural as possible, using as few chemicals as I can - this is the best stuff around. Clean, natural and it smells amazing. It will make your hair feel as soft as silk. For curly hair (my daughter has curly hair) it helps tame those wild curls and makes her coarse hair feel much softer.Word of caution, a tiny bit goes a looooong way. A few drops for my hair that is mid-way down my back is all I need. After my hair is dry, I use it again then brush it through and use the hair dryer to quickly dry it once more - five to ten seconds max.

Leaves my hair very soft and manageable. It is good as a detangler. I only put on my hair. Not my scalp. I've never tried as a hot oil/deep conditioner. This is my everyday and after wash oil.

I absolutely love, love, love the smell! In fact, I use it on my hair and as a body oil. Wonder if you have a similar product for use as a lotion or body oil. LMK

I have been using this product for years. When my hair started turning gray, it became coarse and not at all soft. After using this a few weeks it became soft and silky again. I will never be without this!! And it smells really nice. I use only 3 pumps after I shampoo and it lasts for months.

This works great, especially by day 2, to keep frizz at bay and accentuate my natural curl. I don't like using hair spray, gel, or other defining products that coat and dull the hair. This is all I need.

I've used this for years and the best oil you can use on your hair. It also has some healing hair properties.
